王怒益甚、勃然變色、使爇洪爐、較常者燄烈七倍、

尼布甲尼撒聞此、忿怒盈懷、向沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌、面容變色、命人爇窰、較常烈加七倍、

Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual

Then Nebuchadnezzar was very angry with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. The look on his face changed. And he ordered that the furnace be heated seven times hotter than usual.

尼布甲尼撒王勃然大怒，下令将沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌带来。于是他们被带到王面前。

我也要与你们作对，向你们发烈怒，把比先前严厉七倍的惩罚加在你们身上。

“如果你们仍然与我作对，不肯听从我，我要把比先前严重七倍的灾难降在你们身上。

我也要与你们作对，用比先前严重七倍的灾难击打你们。

“如果你们受过这些惩罚，仍然不知悔改，我要把比先前严厉七倍的惩罚加在你们身上。

敌人说，‘追啊，追上他们，瓜分他们的财物，尽情地掳掠他们，拔出刀来把他们斩尽杀绝。’你叫风一吹，海水就淹没他们，他们好像铅块一样沉没在怒海中。

我必把这杯给苦待你的人，他们曾对你说，‘趴下，我们好从你身上走过。’你曾把你的背当作地面，当作街道任人践踏。”

众人听了这番话，怒火中烧，咬牙切齿。

脸色骤变，惊恐万分，两腿发软，双膝颤抖。

石头沉，沙土重，不如愚人惹的麻烦重。暴怒固然残酷，愤恨好比狂澜，然而嫉妒更是无人能敌。

嘲讽者狂妄自大，行事骄横无比。

王下令把那些恶意控告但以理的人及其儿女妻子都带来，扔进狮子坑。他们还没到坑底，狮子便扑上去，咬碎了他们的骨头。

你向人类发怒为你带来荣耀，你准备发尽你的烈怒。

却不悦纳该隐和他的祭物。该隐便非常恼火，面带怒容。耶和华问该隐：“你为什么恼火？为什么面带怒容？

他们听了，怒气冲天，打算杀掉使徒。

然后在坛上摆好柴，把公牛切成块放在柴上，对众人说：“你们去打四桶水倒在祭物和柴上。”他们照做了。以利亚吩咐他们再倒一次，他们又倒了一次。以利亚又吩咐他们倒第三次，他们就倒了第三次。水流到坛的四周，沟里也灌满了。

“‘你起你坐，你出你进，你向我发怒，我都知道。因为你向我发怒，你狂傲的话达到了我耳中，我要用钩子钩住你的鼻子，把嚼环放在你嘴里，使你原路返回。’

雅各发觉拉班对他的态度不如从前了。

“总督大人，我们记得那个骗子生前曾说，‘三天之后，我必复活。’所以请你命人看守坟墓三天，以防祂的门徒偷走祂的尸体，然后对百姓说祂已经从死里复活。这样的迷惑会比以前的更厉害！”彼拉多说：“你们带上卫兵，去那里严加看守。”他们就带着卫兵去了，在墓口的石头上贴上封条，派人看守墓穴。

王大怒，离席去了御花园。哈曼见王定意要惩罚他，便留下来求以斯帖王后饶命。

“朋友们，我告诉你们，不要惧怕那些杀害人的身体后再也无计可施的人。我告诉你们应该惧怕谁，要惧怕上帝——祂有权终结人的生命，并把人丢在地狱里。是的，我告诉你们，要惧怕祂！

便·哈达又派人去对亚哈说：“若撒玛利亚的尘土够我的士兵每人抓一把，愿神明重重地惩罚我。”以色列王说：“你去告诉便·哈达，叫他别刚穿上盔甲就夸口，打完仗卸下盔甲再夸口吧。”

王的烈怒如死亡使者，然而智者能平息王怒。
