至於那奧祕的事顯明給我，不是因為我比所有的活人更有智慧，而是要使王明白那夢的釋義和王心裡的意念。

此秘奧顯示於我、非因我有智慧、逾於眾生、乃以夢兆告王、俾知心之所思、

非我較天下人有智、惟上帝以此秘奧示我、遣我以兆告王、使王追憶前事、

此奧秘顯示於我、非為我較天下人有智慧、乃為以夢兆示王、使王憶及心觀之異象、使王憶及心觀之異象或作俾王得知王心之思念

As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.

Now the mystery has been explained to me. But it isn’t because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive. It’s because God wants you to know what the mystery means, Your Majesty. He wants you to understand what went through your mind.

But as for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind.

And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart.

约瑟回答说：“我自己不会解梦，但上帝却能给王圆满的解释。”

彼得看见这情形，就对大家说：“以色列人啊，何必惊奇呢？为什么一直盯着我们呢？你们以为我们是凭自己的能力和虔诚叫这人行走吗？

然后，他回到居所将这事告诉同伴哈拿尼雅、米沙利和亚撒利雅，要同伴祈求天上的上帝施怜悯，显明这奥秘，以免他们和其他巴比伦的智者一起被杀。

看啊，那位造山又造风，向人显明祂的心意，将黎明变为黑暗，将群山踩在脚下的——祂的名字是万军之上帝耶和华。

到最后，竟也向我这好像未按产期出生的人显现。在众使徒中我最微不足道，根本不配称为使徒，因为我曾迫害上帝的教会。但靠着上帝的恩典，我成了今天的我，祂赐给我的恩典没有枉费。我比其他人更加卖力，不过我不是靠自己，而是上帝的恩典与我同在。不论是我传的还是其他使徒传的，我们怎样传，你们也怎样相信了。既然我们一直都在传扬基督已经从死里复活，怎么你们当中却有些人否定死人复活的事呢？

因为我是你的上帝耶和华，是以色列的圣者，是你的救主。我用埃及作你的赎价，使古实和西巴代替你。我珍视你，看重你，深爱你，所以我用他人代替你，用列邦交换你的生命。

上帝使这四个青年精通各样学问和知识。但以理能明白各种异象和梦兆。

因此，谁都不要仗着人夸耀，因为万物都属于你们，无论是保罗、亚波罗、彼得、世界、生命、死亡、现在的事或将来的事都属于你们，你们属于基督，基督属于上帝。

我们知道，上帝使万事互相效力，使那些爱上帝，就是上帝按自己的旨意呼召的人得益处。

虽然你不认识我，但为了我的仆人雅各，我所拣选的以色列，我还是点名呼召你，赐给你一个尊贵的名号。

王又应允但以理的请求，派沙得拉、米煞和亚伯尼歌负责巴比伦省的事务。但以理仍在朝中供职。

其实一切都是为了你们，好叫恩典临到更多的人，有更多人向上帝感恩，使上帝得荣耀。

如果不缩短灾期，恐怕没有人能活命。但为了选民的缘故，灾期必被缩短。

如果主不缩短灾期，恐怕没有人能活命，但为了祂所拣选的子民，祂已经缩短灾期。
