乃於人酣寢、偃臥在牀時、以夢與夜間之異象示之、啟人之耳、以堅厥訓、

耶和華曰、其聽我言、爾中如有先知、我必藉異象而顯見、或夢中諭之、

此後於夜間異象中、我見其四之獸、可畏可懼、極強有力、亦有鐵牙甚巨、吞噬碎裂、足踐所餘、與前諸獸迥異、首有十角、

主耶和華若不以秘密、先示其僕諸先知、則無所行、

如經云、目未見、耳未聞、亦未入人之心者、即上帝為愛之者所備也、惟上帝以聖神示我儕、蓋聖神窮萬有、以及乎上帝之深邃、

巫師長伯提沙撒歟、我知聖神之靈寓於爾中、秘奧無足難爾、其告我所得之夢象、為我解之、

亞蘭王與以色列戰、與其臣議曰、我必於某處建營、上帝僕遣人詣以色列王曰、爾其慎之、勿經某處、蓋亞蘭人至矣、以色列王遣人至上帝僕所戒之處、而脫其害、非僅一二次已也、亞蘭王緣此中心煩擾、召其臣謂之曰、我中誰助以色列王、爾曹不告我乎、一臣曰、我主我王歟、非也、乃以色列之先知以利沙、以王在寢室所言者、告以色列王、

乃於夢中得示、令勿返見希律、遂由他途而歸、○博士既去、主之使見夢於約瑟曰、起、攜嬰及其母、奔埃及、寓彼、俟余示爾、蓋希律將索嬰殲之、

此四少者、上帝賜以知識聰睿、精於文字學術、但以理洞悉諸啟示及夢兆、

顯示隱微深奧之事、洞悉暗中所有、光與之偕、

乃於夜間人酣睡時、出於幻想之意、

但以理對曰、王所問之秘奧、哲士術士、巫人卜筮、不能告王、惟在天有上帝、顯示秘奧、彼以末日必有之事、示尼布甲尼撒王、王在牀所得之夢、及所見之異象乃此、王在牀時、思未來之事、今顯示秘奧者、以必有之事示爾、

耶和華與畏己者相親、必示以其約兮、
