他說：「但以理啊，你只管去吧！因為這些話語已經被隱藏、被封住了，直到末後的時期。

他又對我說：「不可封住這書上的預言之話，因為時候快到了。

至於所提到的有關兩千三百個晚上和早晨的異象是真實的，但你要封住這異象，因為這是關於將來許多的日子。」

於是加百列來到我所站的地方。他一來，我就驚惶失措，臉伏於地。他對我說：「人子啊，你當領悟，這異象是關於末後的時期！」

當那七個雷發出了自己的聲音，我正要寫下來，卻聽見有聲音從天上傳來，說：「你要封住七個雷所說的話，不可寫下來。」

到那日，耳聾之人必聽見書卷上的話，瞎眼之人的眼睛必脫離迷蒙黑暗得以看見；卑微人將因耶和華樂上加樂，世人中的貧窮人將因以色列的聖者而快樂；

這天國的福音將被傳遍天下，好對萬國做見證，然後結局才會到來。

你要收起誡命，在我的門徒中封住訓誨。

在我整個聖山上，這一切都不會帶來傷害或毀滅；因為有關耶和華的知識必充滿大地，如同眾水盈滿海洋。

到那日，不會有光，光體都必凍結。那將是耶和華所知道的獨特之日；那日不再有白天黑夜，傍晚時分仍然有光。到那日，必有活水從耶路撒冷流出，一半流向東邊的海，另一半流向西邊的海，夏天和冬天都會如此。耶和華必作全地的王；到那日，耶和華就是獨一無二的，他的名也是獨一無二的。從迦巴直到耶路撒冷南方臨門的全地都將變為荒原，但耶路撒冷必聳立、存留在原處——從便雅憫門到第一門之處，又到角門，再從哈楠業樓到王的榨酒池那裡。

能看的人，他們的眼睛不會再封閉；能聽的人，他們的耳朵必會留心聽。

至於你，你只管去吧，直到你的結局！你必安息，到了末後的那些日子，你必起來得你的份。」

「末後的時期，南方王會與他衝撞。北方王必帶著戰車、馬兵和許多戰船，暴風般地攻擊他，並侵入列國，如洪水漫溢，縱橫穿越。

波斯王居魯士三年，有話語啟示給那名字稱為伯提沙撒的但以理。這話語是真實的，是關於大爭戰；但以理領悟了這話語，也領悟了這異象。

那麼我要說，他們難道沒有聽過嗎？當然聽過——「那聲音傳遍了天下，那話語傳到了地極。」

在耶和華包紮他子民傷口的日子，在治癒他所擊打之創傷的時候，月光必像日光，日光必加增七倍，像七日的光一樣。
