After he has arisen, his empire will be broken up and parceled out toward the four winds of heaven. It will not go to his descendants, nor will it have the power he exercised, because his empire will be uprooted and given to others.

當牡山羊猛悍強壯之時、巨角忽折、復生四大角、東西南朔、各據一方、

巨角既折、四角代立、其義曰、其國必分為四、不能與前國比權量力、

不然、我必殲滅之、耶和華已言之矣。

既驅之出、後加矜憫、使歸故土、恢復舊業。

曰我宵闌得夢、見四方之風、相搏於大海、

我見十角之間、忽生小角、先生三角之根、為其所拔、小角有目、若人有口能言、惟自矜誇、

始我命邦國、必當翦滅、撥其根本、而彼邦國、悛改厥行、則我欲降之災、必不行焉。

各人所為、無非捉影、諠譟徒勞兮、積累財貨、不知孰得兮。

我一身勞瘁、不可為悅、蓋所經營、必遺於後起之人、子孫智愚、難以逆料、惟我竭其心思、勞苦畢生、彼得而主之、豈不盡屬於虛哉。

耶穌知其意曰、國自相分爭、必墟、家邑自相分爭、不立、

惟我耶和華告爾、曰、昔予建造斯邦、加以栽植、後必殲滅、拔其根株、

上帝曰、無知者乎、今夜將索爾魂、則所備者誰歸、

曰、作惡者歡呼、弗能恆久、偽善者喜樂、不過俄傾。雖峻極於天、昂頭雲外、終亦必亡、與糞壤同腐、素見之者、必曰其人安在。

我見惡者強暴、蔓衍葱蘢、若茂樹兮、曾幾何時、其人已非、不得其所兮。

又見一獸、其形若豹、背生四翼、亦有四首得秉大權、

棄尸之谷、置灰之所、暨諸田疇、至汲淪溪、又至東方、及馬門之隅、俱為聖地、以奉事予、不拔其根、毀其基、歷世弗替。

有人塊然獨處、無兄弟子女、不與友朋交接、然亦勞苦不已、雖得貨財、不以為足、不敢自用、不知遺誰、此屬於虛、更貽後患。

彼恃貨財、誇豐富兮、然生命將絕、雖有密友不能贖之、而上帝錫以齡兮、生命之價、既貴且昂、欲贖無從兮、不能壽世而體不朽兮、我觀智慧者死、愚蠢者亡、遺業於後兮、揣彼之心、意謂家必恆存、室可垂後、聲名揚於寰宇兮、人爵雖顯、不得永存、猶禽獸之速亡兮。

予入上帝之室、遂得究其終極兮、維彼惡人、雨置諸險滑之途、擲諸死亡之地兮、猝然喪敗、殲滅殆盡、主勃然而興、如夢警醒、藐視其浮華兮。
