既云新人、則不復分異邦人與猶太人、割禮中人與非割禮中人、化外人與西古提人、為奴之人與自由之人矣。蓋基督包羅萬有、而寓乎萬有也、

In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on him.

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body. Whether Jews or Greeks or slaves or free, we were all made to drink of the one Spirit.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female– for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.

namely, that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.

even us, whom he has called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?As he also says in Hosea:“ I will call those who were not my people,‘ My people,’ and I will call her who was unloved,‘ My beloved.’”“ And in the very place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ there they will be called‘ sons of the living God.’”

Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is he not the God of the Gentiles too? Yes, of the Gentiles too!

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision carries any weight– the only thing that matters is faith working through love.

“ Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I take great delight. I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.He will not quarrel or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.He will not break a bruised reed or extinguish a smoldering wick, until he brings justice to victory.And in his name the Gentiles will hope.”

Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Instead, keeping God’s commandments is what counts.

The LORD reveals his royal power in the sight of all the nations; the entire earth sees our God deliver.

so that the rest of humanity may seek the Lord, namely, all the Gentiles I have called to be my own,’ says the Lord, who makes these things

Now the church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

and thus the Gentiles glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,“ Because of this I will confess you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praises to your name.”And again it says:“ Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.”And again,“ Praise the Lord all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise him.”And again Isaiah says,“ The root of Jesse will come, and the one who rises to rule over the Gentiles, in him will the Gentiles hope.”Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

As a result they will conquer those left in Edom and all the nations subject to my rule.” The LORD, who is about to do this, is speaking!

The LORD who rules over all says,‘ It will someday come to pass that people– residents of many cities– will come.The inhabitants of one will go to another and say,“ Let’s go up at once to ask the favor of the LORD, to seek the LORD who rules over all. Indeed, I’ll go with you.”’Many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the LORD who rules over all and to ask his favor.The LORD who rules over all says,‘ In those days ten people from all languages and nations will grasp hold of– indeed, grab– the robe of one Jew and say,“ Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’”

he says,“ Is it too insignificant a task for you to be my servant, to reestablish the tribes of Jacob, and restore the remnant of Israel? I will make you a light to the nations, so you can bring my deliverance to the remote regions of the earth.”

Both Paul and Barnabas replied courageously,“ It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.For this is what the Lord has commanded us:‘ I have appointed you to be a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”When the Gentiles heard this, they began to rejoice and praise the word of the Lord, and all who had been appointed for eternal life believed.

“ Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on the day of salvation, and they will also be my people. Indeed, I will settle in the midst of you all.” Then you will know that the LORD who rules over all has sent me to you.

For from the east to the west my name will be great among the nations. Incense and pure offerings will be offered in my name everywhere, for my name will be great among the nations,” says the LORD who rules over all.

At that time there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will visit Egypt, and the Egyptians will visit Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together.At that time Israel will be the third member of the group, along with Egypt and Assyria, and will be a recipient of blessing in the earth.The LORD who commands armies will pronounce a blessing over the earth, saying,“ Blessed be my people, Egypt, and the work of my hands, Assyria, and my special possession, Israel!”

I am a debtor both to the Greeks and to the barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.

What shall we say then?– that the Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness obtained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith,but Israel even though pursuing a law of righteousness did not attain it.

Many nations will come, saying,“ Come on! Let’s go up to the LORD’s mountain, to the temple of Jacob’s God, so he can teach us his commands and we can live by his laws.” For Zion will be the source of instruction; the LORD’s teachings will proceed from Jerusalem.

“ I hate their deeds and thoughts! So I am coming to gather all the nations and ethnic groups; they will come and witness my splendor.I will perform a mighty act among them and then send some of those who remain to the nations– to Tarshish, Pul, Lud( known for its archers), Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands that have not heard about me or seen my splendor. They will tell the nations of my splendor.They will bring back all your countrymen from all the nations as an offering to the LORD. They will bring them on horses, in chariots, in wagons, on mules, and on camels to my holy hill Jerusalem,” says the LORD,“ just as the Israelites bring offerings to the LORD’s temple in ritually pure containers.And I will choose some of them as priests and Levites,” says the LORD.“ For just as the new heavens and the new earth I am about to make will remain standing before me,” says the LORD,“ so your descendants and your name will remain.

I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending youto open their eyes so that they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

I in them and you in me– that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of righteousness.Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.

Then I will plant her as my own in the land. I will have pity on‘ No Pity’( Lo-Ruhamah). I will say to‘ Not My People’( Lo-Ammi),‘ You are my people!’ And he will say,‘ You are my God!’”

But these assets I have come to regard as liabilities because of Christ.More than that, I now regard all things as liabilities compared to the far greater value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things– indeed, I regard them as dung!– that I may gain Christ,and be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness– a righteousness from God that is in fact based on Christ’s faithfulness.

If then I do not know the meaning of a language, I will be a foreigner to the speaker and the speaker a foreigner to me.

because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this will be rewarded by the Lord.

Jesus replied,“ If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him.

“ I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me– and I in him– bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing.

But may I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation!

The local inhabitants showed us extraordinary kindness, for they built a fire and welcomed us all because it had started to rain and was cold.

Then Peter started speaking:“ I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism in dealing with people,but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is welcomed before him.

so that no one can boast in his presence.He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

Then I said,“ LORD, you give me strength and protect me. You are the one I can run to for safety when I am in trouble. Nations from all over the earth will come to you and say,‘ Our ancestors had nothing but false gods– worthless idols that could not help them at all.

When the local people saw the creature hanging from Paul’s hand, they said to one another,“ No doubt this man is a murderer! Although he has escaped from the sea, Justice herself has not allowed him to live!”

For his loyal love towers over us, and the LORD’s faithfulness endures. Praise the LORD!

The one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood resides in me, and I in him.Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so the one who consumes me will live because of me.

and you have been filled in him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love,

So then, no more boasting about mere mortals! For everything belongs to you,whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you,and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

Were you called as a slave? Do not worry about it. But if indeed you are able to be free, make the most of the opportunity.For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave is the Lord’s freedman. In the same way, the one who was called as a free person is Christ’s slave.

How then was it credited to him? Was he circumcised at the time, or not? No, he was not circumcised but uncircumcised!And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised, so that he would become the father of all those who believe but have never been circumcised, that they too could have righteousness credited to them.
