由其欲心、妄自誇許、不愛戴元首、不知全體賴首、以百節維繫、輔助聯絡、能按天主之旨而日長也、

殊不知元首為全體之綱領、全體之筋脈骨節、賴之以生、賴之以固、賴之以調暢滋長於天主懷中。

They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.

They aren’t connected anymore to the head, who is Christ. But the whole body grows from the head. The muscles and tendons hold the body together. And God causes it to grow.

and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

and they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For he holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.

He doesn’t hold on to the head, from whom the whole body, nourished and held together by its ligaments and tendons, grows with growth from God.

and not holding firmly to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God.

and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

and not holding fast the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and bands, increaseth with the increase of God.

He doesn’t hold on to the head, from whom the whole body, nourished and held together by its ligaments and tendons, develops with growth from God.

And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God’s growth.

But practicing the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ, who is the head.From him the whole body grows, fitted and held together through every supporting ligament. As each one does its part, the body grows in love.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day.

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me.“ I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me– and I in him– bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing.If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown out like a branch, and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and are burned up.

Finally, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, affectionate, compassionate, and humble.

that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.

For just as in one body we have many members, and not all the members serve the same function,so we who are many are one body in Christ, and individually we are members who belong to one another.

since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human,who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time.

And indeed you are practicing it toward all the brothers and sisters in all of Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more,

And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things.

my bones were not hidden from you, when I was made in secret and sewed together in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw me when I was inside the womb. All the days ordained for me were recorded in your scroll before one of them came into existence.

The group of those who believed were of one heart and mind, and no one said that any of his possessions was his own, but everything was held in common.

Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them and participated in the richness of the olive root,

Is not the cup of blessing that we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread that we break a sharing in the body of Christ?Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all share the one bread.

Listen! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you at all!And I testify again to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.You who are trying to be declared righteous by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace!

We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith flourishes more and more and the love of each one of you all for one another is ever greater.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow.

For no one has ever hated his own body but he feeds it and takes care of it, just as Christ also does the church,

Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ so that– whether I come and see you or whether I remain absent– I should hear that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, by contending side by side for the faith of the gospel,

For just as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body– though many– are one body, so too is Christ.For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body. Whether Jews or Greeks or slaves or free, we were all made to drink of the one Spirit.For in fact the body is not a single member, but many.If the foot says,“ Since I am not a hand, I am not part of the body,” it does not lose its membership in the body because of that.And if the ear says,“ Since I am not an eye, I am not part of the body,” it does not lose its membership in the body because of that.If the whole body were an eye, what part would do the hearing? If the whole were an ear, what part would exercise the sense of smell?But as a matter of fact, God has placed each of the members in the body just as he decided.If they were all the same member, where would the body be?So now there are many members, but one body.The eye cannot say to the hand,“ I do not need you,” nor in turn can the head say to the foot,“ I do not need you.”On the contrary, those members that seem to be weaker are essential,and those members we consider less honorable we clothe with greater honor, and our unpresentable members are clothed with dignity,but our presentable members do not need this. Instead, God has blended together the body, giving greater honor to the lesser member,so that there may be no division in the body, but the members may have mutual concern for one another.If one member suffers, everyone suffers with it. If a member is honored, all rejoice with it.Now you are Christ’s body, and each of you is a member of it.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree together, to end your divisions, and to be united by the same mind and purpose.

My goal is that their hearts, having been knit together in love, may be encouraged, and that they may have all the riches that assurance brings in their understanding of the knowledge of the mystery of God, namely, Christ,

making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
