Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as[ by] the flood of Egypt.

地岂不因这事震动？其上的居民不也悲哀吗？地必全然像尼罗河涨起，如同埃及河涌上落下。”

这片土地要因此而震动，那里的人都要悲哀。大地要像尼罗河一样涨起，如埃及的河流翻腾退落。”

“这地不应为此震动，所有住在地上的不应悲哀吗？这地必像尼罗河高涨翻腾，像埃及的大河退落。

地豈不因這事震動？其上的居民不也悲哀嗎？地必全然像尼羅河漲起，如同埃及河湧上落下。

斯地豈不因此而震動、居其中者豈不悲哀乎、斯地將墳起、如大河之漲、搖撼而復下陷、如埃及之河焉、

地必震動、民必哀號、土壤墳起、忽復下陷、若埃及之河、漲而復退。

緣此事、地不當震動乎、其中居民、不當哀痛乎、全地不當墳起、如河之翻騰乎、不當攪起復又下陷、如伊及之河漲而復退乎、

“ Will not the land tremble for this, and all who live in it mourn? The whole land will rise like the Nile; it will be stirred up and then sink like the river of Egypt.

“ The land will tremble because of what will happen. Everyone who lives in it will mourn. So the whole land will rise like the Nile River. It will be stirred up. Then it will settle back down again like that river in Egypt.”

Shall not the land tremble on this account, and everyone mourn who dwells in it, and all of it rise like the Nile, and be tossed about and sink again, like the Nile of Egypt?”

The earth will tremble for your deeds, and everyone will mourn. The ground will rise like the Nile River at floodtime; it will heave up, then sink again.

Because of this, won’t the land quake and all who dwell in it mourn? All of it will rise like the Nile; it will surge and then subside like the Nile in Egypt.

Because of this will the land not quake, And everyone who lives in it mourn? Indeed, all of it will rise up like the Nile, And it will be tossed about And subside like the Nile of Egypt.

Shall the land not tremble for this, And everyone mourn who dwells in it? All of it shall swell like the River, Heave and subside Like the River of Egypt.

Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? yea, it shall rise up wholly like the River; and it shall be troubled and sink again, like the River of Egypt.

Because of this, won’t the land quake and all who dwell in it mourn? All of it will rise like the Nile; it will surge and then subside like the Nile in Egypt.

Because of this the earth will quake, and all who live in it will mourn. The whole earth will rise like the River Nile, it will surge upward and then grow calm, like the Nile in Egypt.

Won’t the land tremble for this, and everyone mourn who dwells in it? Yes, it will rise up wholly like the River; and it will be stirred up and sink again, like the River of Egypt.

And the Lord GOD of hosts[ is] he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as[ by] the flood of Egypt.

Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

Egypt riseth up like a flood, and[ his] waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up,[ and] will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.

Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases[ were] torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand[ is] stretched out still.

The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof[ that] rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.

Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many,[ even] the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach[ even] to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.

For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire,[ and] as the waters[ that are] poured down a steep place.For the transgression of Jacob[ is] all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What[ is] the transgression of Jacob?[ is it] not Samaria? and what[ are] the high places of Judah?[ are they] not Jerusalem?

The sea saw[ it], and fled: Jordan was driven back.The mountains skipped like rams,[ and] the little hills like lambs.What[ ailed] thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan,[ that] thou wast driven back?Ye mountains,[ that] ye skipped like rams;[ and] ye little hills, like lambs?Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof[ shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it[ is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry[ land];And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways[ are] everlasting.I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction:[ and] the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.Was the LORD displeased against the rivers?[ was] thine anger against the rivers?[ was] thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses[ and] thy chariots of salvation?

I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.I beheld, and, lo,[ there was] no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place[ was] a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD,[ and] by his fierce anger.

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only[ son], and the end thereof as a bitter day.
