For behold, the Lord is going to command that the great house be smashed to pieces, and the small house to rubble.

看哪，耶和华出令，大房就被攻破，小屋就被打裂。

因為你看，永恆主一發命令，大房屋就被擊毁、成了碎片，小房屋則被打壞、到四分五裂。

蓋耶和華出令、巨室被擊而碎、小屋亦遭殘破、

蓋耶和華曾言必毀其室家、巨細不分、

蓋主已命毀其大室小室、皆傾圮為瓦礫、

For the Lord has given the command, and he will smash the great house into pieces and the small house into bits.

That’s because the Lord has already given an order. He will smash large houses to pieces. He will crush small houses to bits.

For behold, the Lord commands, and the great house shall be struck down into fragments, and the little house into bits.

When the Lord gives the command, homes both great and small will be smashed to pieces.

For the LORD commands: The large house will be smashed to pieces, and the small house to rubble.

If a trumpet is blown in a city, will the people not tremble? If a disaster occurs in a city, has the Lord not brought it about?Certainly the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret plan To His servants the prophets.

Samaria will pay the penalty for her guilt, Because she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword, Their children will be slaughtered, And their pregnant women will be ripped open.

Through extreme laziness the rafters sag, and through idleness the house leaks.
