今當求我、我造昴參諸宿、變陰翳為光明、轉白晝為昏夜、使海水泛濫於地、我名耶和華。

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord made the Pleiades and Orion. He turns midnight into sunrise. He makes the day fade into night. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is his name;

It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

( But there is one who made the constellations Pleiades and Orion; he can turn the darkness into morning and daylight into night. He summons the water of the seas and pours it out on the earth’s surface. The LORD is his name!

昔我造山作風、使晝往夜來、陟諸崇坵、推測人意、萬有之主耶和華、我名也。

斗柄旋、參昴見、南方之宮、運其躔度。

耶和華曰、當斯時也、我必於亭午、使日沉西、白晝晦冥、遍地不見、

我作明宮於天、鑿幽谷於地、使海水泛濫於天下、厥名耶和華。

遍地晦冥、獸乃出兮、

彰奧妙無隱秘、變陰翳為光明。

誰繫昴結、解參帶、引十二宮、躔度不差、轉斗柄、旋眾星乎、爾豈能為之乎。

斯人也、違逆至高之上帝、厭棄其道、故居幽暗陰翳之地、陷以患難、縶以鐵索兮、

或降以災、或施以恩、潤澤土壤。

主使遍地晦冥、無不應命兮、

適挪亞六百歲、二月十七日、巨淵出其泉、穹蒼破其隙、霪雨四旬、晝夜不息。當是日、挪亞率妻及子、閃、含、雅弗、與三媳、皆登方舟。百獸、六畜、昆蟲、飛鳥、諸族、凡有血氣者、牝牡各一、遵上帝命、就挪亞登方舟、耶和華遂閉其門。○

居幽暗陰翳者光照之、導我履平康之道矣、○

迨及七次、則反曰、有雲甚小、自海而起、大約人掌。曰、往告亞哈云、當備車而往、恐為雨所阻。其間風雲驟起、黑蔽霄漢、沛然下雨、亞哈乘車、往耶斯烈、

爾誕生以來、亦曾命旭日升、黎明至乎。地之四極、輝光既布、宵小匿跡、

昧爽火雲若柱、耶和華於其中俯視埃及營、亂其行伍、脫其車輪、使之難行。埃及人曰、耶和華助以色列族而攻我、我其遁。耶和華諭摩西曰、以手指海、使水反淹其軍、以及車馬。摩西指海、黎明水合如故。埃及人趨而避、耶和華使水阻其前、淹之於海。蓋法老率車馬軍旅、入於海中、襲以色列族後、海水回流、軍俱覆沒、靡有孑遺。

惟彼瞽者、我必相之、彼不識途、我必導之、使暗為光。使曲為直、我行如是、必不遐棄斯民。

爾能呼雲、使洪水淹爾乎、

耶和華諭摩西曰、以手指天、使埃及晦冥、暗中摸索。摩西指天、遍埃及地杳冥幽暗、至於三日。三日間、人不得相見、弗能出戶、惟以色列族宅有輝光。○

使水遍地、如衣被身、懷山襄陵兮、主發雷聲、叱咤波濤、水奔騰而盡退兮、山岡峙立、平原奠定、水歸厥所兮、主立堤防以為限、水不能過、無復有淹決之虞兮、

處暗之民、已見大光、居死地陰翳者、有光射之、○

徧捫不見、無異瞽者、捫壁而行、雖在日中、亦顛其趾、無異昏暮、雖得福田、不能安享、無異死亡之輩。
