今當求我、我造昴參諸宿、變陰翳為光明、轉白晝為昏夜、使海水泛濫於地、我名耶和華。

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord made the Pleiades and Orion. He turns midnight into sunrise. He makes the day fade into night. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is his name;

It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

The one who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns darkness into dawn and darkens day into night, who summons the water of the sea and pours it out over the surface of the earth— the LORD is his name.

『因為你看，那塑造了山、創造了風、將「心意如何」指示人、使晨光變為幽暗、腳踏地之山丘的、萬軍之上帝永恆主耶和華是他的名。

他造了北斗、參星、昴星、和南方的密宮。

主永恆主發神諭說：『當那日我必使日、中午就落，使地在大白日天竟黑暗。

那在天上建造了樓閣，在地上奠定了穹蒼，呼喚海水給傾倒在地上的：耶和華是他的名。

你安排黑暗，便有了夜，森林中的百獸就爬出來。

他將深奧的事從黑暗中啓現出，又使漆黑顯出亮光。

『你能繫住昴星的結麼？能解開參星的帶麼？你能按時引出十二宮星系，領導北斗和隨它的眾星麼？

有人坐在幽暗漆黑中，被困苦和鐵鍊捆鎖着，因為他們違背了上帝說的話，藐視至高者的意旨，上帝就用勞苦來制伏他們的心；他們跌倒，也沒有人幫助。於是他們在急難中呼求永恆主拯救他們脫離他們的窘迫；永恆主就領了他們從幽暗漆黑中出來，掙開他們的捆綁。

或是為作刑杖，以罰他的地，或是為顯堅愛、他才使電光閃耀着。

他打發黑暗，使那地暗黑；埃及人卻不理睬他的話。

當挪亞活了六百歲那一年，二月十七日這一天，大深淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的罅隙也敞開了。隨有傾盆大雨降在地上、四十晝又四十夜。就在這一天、挪亞就進了樓船；挪亞的兒子，閃、含、雅弗、和挪亞的妻子、跟他的三個兒媳婦也和他一同進去。他們和一切走獸、各從其類、一切牲口、各從其類，爬在地上的一切爬行動物、各從其類，一切禽鳥、各從其類：各種羽族各樣鳥兒：都進到挪亞那裏，入了樓船。凡有血肉的，就是裏面有生氣的活物，都兩隻兩隻地進去，那些進去的、是凡有血肉、有公有母進去的，正如上帝所吩咐挪亞的。永恆主就把他們關在船裏頭。洪水氾濫在地上四十天。水越往上長，越把樓船漂起，使它離地上升。水勢浩大，在地上大大地往上長，樓船在水面上漂來漂去。水勢在地上極其浩大，普天下的高山都被淹沒了。水勢比山漲高二十二呎半，山嶺都被淹沒了。

照亮那坐在黑暗中死陰影裏的人，引導我們的腳進平安的路。』

第七次僮僕說：『看哪，有一小片密雲、像人的手掌那麼大、從海裏上來。』以利亞說：『你上去、對亞哈說：「要套車下去，免得淋雨阻擋了你。」霎時間、天因風雲而黑暗，就降下了大雨來。亞哈便坐車、往耶斯列去了。

『從你生日以來、你何曾吩咐過早晨，使天亮知道它的本位，叫亮光抓住地的四角，將惡人抖掉呢？

晨更時候，永恆主在火柱雲柱中往下眺望埃及人的營，就使埃及人的營潰亂了。又纏住他們的車輪，使車行走重難，以致埃及人說：『我們從以色列人面前逃跑吧；因為永恆主為他們爭戰、攻打埃及人了。』永恆主對摩西說：『你向海伸手，叫水回到埃及人身上、到他們的車輛和馬兵身上。』摩西就向海伸手；天快亮時候，海水回到原流的分量；埃及人逆流逃跑，永恆主把埃及人都抖在海中。水一回流，淹沒了車輛和馬兵、以及法老的全軍，那些跟着以色列人下海裏去的，連一個也沒有剩下。

我必領瞎子行不認識的路，他們不知道的路徑、我必帶他們走。我必使黑暗在他們面前變為亮光，使彎曲變為平直：這些事我都要作，決不放棄。

『你能向雲彩揚起聲來，使洶湧的水淹沒着你麼？

永恆主對摩西說：『你向天伸手，讓黑暗來到埃及地：簡直是一種摸得着的黑暗。』摩西向天伸手，埃及遍地就有黑漆的黑暗烏了三天。三天之久、人彼此都看不見，人也不起來、離開所在之地；惟獨以色列人住的地方都有亮光。

你以深淵如服裝遮蓋着大地；諸水停滯於山上。因你的叱責、水便奔逃；因你的雷聲、水便急流而退。以致山嶺上升，峽谷下沉，諸水流歸於你奠定之地。你定了界限，叫水別越過，別回來淹沒大地。

住在暗中的人民看見了大光；住在死地死陰影裏的人、有光昇現、照着他們。』

我們摸索着牆壁、好像瞎子一樣；我們直摸索着、如同沒有眼睛的人；我們中午絆跌，如在黃昏一樣；我們在肥壯人中、就像死人一般。
