do not seek Bethel, do not go to Gilgal, do not journey to Beersheba. For Gilgal will surely go into exile, and Bethel will be reduced to nothing.”

Do not look to Bethel. Do not go to Gilgal. Do not travel to Beersheba. The people of Gilgal will be taken away as prisoners. Nothing will be left of Bethel.”

以色列歟、爾雖行淫、猶大不可干罪、勿至吉甲、勿往伯亞文、勿指維生之耶和華而誓、

亞伯拉罕植垂絲柳於別是巴、禱永生上帝耶和華之名、

撒母耳謂民曰、我儕其往吉甲、在彼復建其國、

彼之惡事、俱在吉甲、在彼我始憾之、緣其惡行、我必逐之於我家、不復愛之、其牧伯皆悖逆者也、

且選世之卑賤者、輕忽者、與夫無者以廢有者、

蓋強暴者已滅、侮慢者已亡、乘機為惡者盡絕、

任爾共謀、終歸無成、任爾發言、終必不立、因上帝偕我儕也、

爾生子女、不為爾有、被虜故也、

故耶和華曰、爾妻將在邑中為妓、爾子女將仆於刃、爾地將度以繩而被分、爾身將死於穢地、以色列必被虜、離其故土、

蓋半時間、如此之巨富、成為荒墟也、各舟長與航海者及舟子、並凡恃海為業者、

故爾民中、擾攘將起、保障見毀、如沙勒幔當戰鬥之日、毀伯亞比勒然、其時母子被擲而碎、爾曹遇此、乃伯特利所使、以爾罪重故也、以色列王、必於昧爽隕沒、

基列無罪乎、盡為虛妄、在吉甲獻牡牛為祭、其壇將如隴畝之石壘、

然我言智於成人、非斯世之智、亦非斯世掌權者之智、以其必敗也、

耶和華敗列邦之謀、廢諸民之志兮、

歲巡伯特利、吉甲、米斯巴、在此聽其訟、

我亦毀爾崇邱、斫爾日像、以爾尸骸、擲於偶像之上、我心必厭惡爾、俾爾邑垣荒墟、聖所寂寞、不享爾馨香、使爾土地荒蕪、處此之敵、無不駭異、

亞文之崇邱、乃以色列之罪、將見毀滅、荊棘蒺藜生於其壇、彼將謂山曰覆我、謂陵曰傾於我上、

憾爾者必蒙羞恥、行惡者其幕無存、
