「以色列人啊，你們去伯特利犯罪吧，去吉甲增添罪惡吧！要每天早晨獻上祭物，每三天奉上你們的十分之一。你們獻上帶酵的餅作感恩祭，並且到處誇耀你們自願獻的祭。以色列人啊，這就是你們愛做的事。這是主耶和華說的。

「至於那些任意妄為、以行可憎之事為樂、宰牛就像殺人、獻羊羔就像打斷狗頸、獻穀物就像獻豬血、燒香就像頌讚偶像的人，

「如果有人為感謝耶和華而獻平安祭，除了獻祭牲以外，要一同獻上調油的無酵餅、塗油的無酵薄餅及調油的細麵餅，也要一同獻上有酵餅。他要從每種餅中各取一個，作為舉祭獻給耶和華。舉祭歸灑平安祭祭牲血的祭司。至於祭牲的肉，要在獻祭的當天吃完，不可留到次日早晨。

他們當稱謝耶和華的慈愛，稱謝祂為世人所行的奇事。他們當向祂獻上感恩祭，歡然歌頌祂的作為。

向我獻上感恩就是尊崇我，我必拯救走正路的人。」

我責怪你，不是因為你的祭物，也不是因為你經常獻給我的燔祭。我不需要你棚裡的公牛和圈裡的山羊，因為林中的百獸是我的，群山上的牲畜是我的。山中的飛鳥和田野的動物都是我的。就是我餓了，也不用告訴你，因為世界和其中的一切都是我的。難道我吃公牛的肉，喝山羊的血嗎？你要向上帝獻上感恩祭，向至高者恪守諾言，
