你們要為他的子孫預備好屠宰場，這是因他們祖先的罪孽；他們絕不會再興起、占有地土、在世上布滿城鎮。」

大地搖搖晃晃，好像醉酒的人，又像茅屋搖來搖去。大地的過犯重壓在自己上面，它就塌陷，不能再起來。

他把戰車、馬匹、軍隊和勇士都領出，使他們一同躺下不再起來，使他們滅沒好像燈芯熄滅一樣——耶和華如此說：

耶路撒冷衰敗，猶大傾倒，因為他們的言行敵對耶和華，抗逆他榮耀的臨在。
