He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord God Almighty is his name.

The Lord forms the mountains. He creates the wind. He makes his thoughts known to human beings. He turns sunrise into darkness. He rules over even the highest places on earth. His name is the Lord God Who Rules Over All.

For behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord, the God of hosts, is his name!

For the Lord is the one who shaped the mountains, stirs up the winds, and reveals his thoughts to mankind. He turns the light of dawn into darkness and treads on the heights of the earth. The Lord God of Heaven’s Armies is his name!

當求造昴參、變晦冥為晨光、使白晝為黑夜、召海水而傾之於地面者、耶和華其名也、

幽暗未至、爾足未躓於晦冥之山、所望之光、未變為死亡之陰翳、深沈之昏黑以先、當歸榮於爾上帝耶和華、

以力自束、以能奠山兮、

雅各之業非若是、彼造萬物、以色列為其嗣業之族、萬軍之耶和華、乃其名也、○

主耶和華為我之力、使我足疾若麀、俾我履於崇高之處、斯歌使伶長鼓琴歌之、

我肇基大地時、爾安在、爾有智、則言之、誰定其度、誰引繩於其上、爾必知之、何處置地基、何人立隅石、當時晨星同歌詠、神子咸歡呼、海水洶湧、若出於胎、誰設門以閉之、我以雲為其衣、以幽暗為襁褓、為定界限、而設門楗、曰、爾至此則可、毋得踰越、爾之狂瀾、至此而止、

使霧起於地極、造電隨雨、出風於其庫兮、

降諭令其消融、使風吹之、則水流蕩兮、

耶和華論以色列之警示、○鋪張諸天、建立地基、創造人靈之耶和華曰、

是日也、敵向之咆哮、若海濤澎湃、人望其地、則見幽暗艱苦、其光晦於密雲、

誰掬掌以測海、布指以度天、斗量塵寰、權山衡嶽、

使其駕行地之高處、食田所產、㗖巖穴所出之蜜、哺堅石所產之油、

雅各之業非若是、彼造萬物、以色列為其嗣業之族、萬軍之耶和華、乃其名也、○

萬軍之上帝耶和華曰、主耶和華指己而誓、我惡雅各之驕泰、而憎其宮室、將以斯城及其中所有、悉付諸敵、

請耶穌之法利賽人見之、意謂、斯人若先知、必知捫之者為誰、為何如婦、乃罪人也、耶穌謂之曰、西門、我有以語爾、曰、夫子言之、

無須人證乎人、自知其內蘊矣、

夫風任意而吹、爾聞其聲、不知其何來何往、凡由聖神生者、亦若是、

耶穌知其意、曰爾心何懷惡耶、
