涼室溫宮、俱必傾圮、象牙之宅、崇峻之第、俱歸烏有、我耶和華已言之矣。

使冬宅夏宅、俱被傾圮、象牙之室、盡必毀滅、高大之第、俱歸鳥有、此乃主所言、

I will tear down the winter house along with the summer house; the houses adorned with ivory will be destroyed and the mansions will be demolished,” declares the Lord.

亞哈其餘的事、凡他所行的，跟他所造的象牙宮、跟所建造的一切城市：不是都寫在《以色列諸王記》上麼？

那時正是九月，王在冬天屋子裏，有火在王前面的火盆中燒着。

以笏來到王那裏；王正獨自坐在他涼爽的房頂屋子。以笏說：『我有上帝的話要報告你』；王從座位上站起來。

因為你看，永恆主一發命令，大房屋就被擊毁、成了碎片，小房屋則被打壞、到四分五裂。

萬軍之永恆主曾經起誓，使我親耳聽到：他說：『必有許多房屋變成荒涼，又大又美，無人居住。

因此主永恆主這麼說：『必有敵人圍攻你的地，使你的勢力衰退，你的宮堡被掠劫。』

你的衣服都有沒藥沉香肉桂的香氣；從象牙宮中有絲絃的樂器使你歡喜。
