I raised up some of your sons as prophets and some of your young men as Nazirites. Is this not the case, Israelites? This is the LORD’s declaration.

我从你们子弟中兴起先知，又从你们少年人中兴起拿细耳人。以色列人哪，不是这样吗？”这是耶和华说的。

我也從你們子弟中興起了神言人，從你們青年人之中興起了離俗人。以色列人哪，不是這樣麼？』永恆主發神諭說。

耶和華曰、以色列人歟、我自爾諸子中、興起先知、由爾少年中、興起拿細耳人、是事豈不有諸、

耶和華又曰、以色列族乎、我在爾庶民間、簡人為先知、在爾幼稚中、選人以離世故、是事豈不有諸、

在爾子弟中、立人為先知、在爾壯男間、立人為那細珥、那細珥譯即離俗者之義下同主曰、以色列人歟、是事豈不有乎、

“ I also raised up prophets from among your children and Nazirites from among your youths. Is this not true, people of Israel?” declares the Lord.

I raised up prophets from among your children. I also set apart for myself some of your young people to be Nazirites. Isn’t that true, people of Israel?” announces the Lord.

And I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not indeed so, O people of Israel?” declares the Lord.

I chose some of your sons to be prophets and others to be Nazirites. Can you deny this, my people of Israel?” asks the Lord.

Then I raised up some of your sons to be prophets, And some of your young men to be Nazirites. Is this not so, you sons of Israel?” declares the Lord.

I raised up some of your sons as prophets, And some of your young men as Nazirites. Is it not so, O you children of Israel?” Says the Lord.

And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah.

I raised up some of your sons as prophets and some of your young men as Nazirites. Is this not the case, Israelites? This is the Lord’s declaration.

And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites.[ Is it] not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.

I made some of your sons prophets and some of your young men Nazirites. Is this not true, you Israelites?” The LORD is speaking!

I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Isn’t this true, you children of Israel?” says Yahweh.

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When a man or woman makes a special vow, a Nazirite vow, to consecrate himself to the LORD,he is to abstain from wine and beer. He must not drink vinegar made from wine or from beer. He must not drink any grape juice or eat fresh grapes or raisins.

Since the day your ancestors came out of the land of Egypt until today, I have sent all my servants the prophets to you time and time again.

So they called for them and ordered them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.

Still, the LORD warned Israel and Judah through every prophet and every seer, saying,“ Turn from your evil ways and keep my commands and statutes according to the whole law I commanded your ancestors and sent to you through my servants the prophets.”

“ Quit your preaching,” they preach.“ They should not preach these things; shame will not overtake us.”

But the LORD, the God of their ancestors sent word against them by the hand of his messengers, sending them time and time again, for he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place.

Now please be careful not to drink wine or beer, or to eat anything unclean;for indeed, you will conceive and give birth to a son. You must never cut his hair, because the boy will be a Nazirite to God from birth, and he will begin to save Israel from the power of the Philistines.”Then the woman went and told her husband,“ A man of God came to me. He looked like the awe-inspiring angel of God. I didn’t ask him where he came from, and he didn’t tell me his name.He said to me,‘ You will conceive and give birth to a son. Therefore, do not drink wine or beer, and do not eat anything unclean, because the boy will be a Nazirite to God from birth until the day of his death.’”

My people, what have I done to you, or how have I wearied you? Testify against me!Indeed, I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from that place of slavery. I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam ahead of you.

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from the Gilead settlers, said to Ahab,“ As the LORD God of Israel lives, in whose presence I stand, there will be no dew or rain during these years except by my command!”

Evil generation, pay attention to the word of the LORD! Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of dense darkness? Why do my people claim,“ We will go where we want; we will no longer come to you”?

Her dignitaries were brighter than snow, whiter than milk; their bodies were more ruddy than coral, their appearance like lapis lazuli.

Be quiet.”Elijah said to him,“ Elisha, stay here; the LORD is sending me to Jericho.” But Elisha said,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went to Jericho.Then the sons of the prophets who were in Jericho came up to Elisha and said,“ Do you know that the LORD will take your master away from you today?” He said,“ Yes, I know. Be quiet.”

He quickly removed the bandage from his eyes. The king of Israel recognized that he was one of the prophets.

The sons of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Please notice that the place where we live under your supervision is too small for us.

“ You stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit. As your ancestors did, you do also.

A prophet approached King Ahab of Israel and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Do you see this whole huge army? Watch, I am handing it over to you today so that you may know that I am the LORD.’”

Therefore, here is what the LORD says concerning the people of Anathoth who intend to take your life. They warn,“ Do not prophesy in the name of the LORD, or you will certainly die at our hand.”

So now, residents of Jerusalem and men of Judah, please judge between me and my vineyard.What more could I have done for my vineyard than I did? Why, when I expected a yield of good grapes, did it yield worthless grapes?

Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will name him John.There will be joy and delight for you, and many will rejoice at his birth.For he will be great in the sight of the Lord and will never drink wine or beer. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit while still in his mother’s womb.He will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.And he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to make ready for the Lord a prepared people.”

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.

When the time came to harvest fruit, he sent his servants to the farmers to collect his fruit.The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.Again, he sent other servants, more than the first group, and they did the same to them.Finally, he sent his son to them.‘ They will respect my son,’ he said.“ But when the tenant farmers saw the son, they said to each other,‘ This is the heir. he sent agents to seize David. However, when they saw the group of prophets prophesying with Samuel leading them, the Spirit of God came on Saul’s agents, and they also started prophesying.

This is what the LORD says: What fault did your ancestors find in me that they went so far from me, followed worthless idols, and became worthless themselves?

You are to anoint Jehu son of Nimshi as king over Israel and Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel-meholah as prophet in your place.

Then Amaziah said to Amos,“ Go away, you seer! Flee to the land of Judah. Earn your living and give your prophecies there,but don’t ever prophesy at Bethel again, for it is the king’s sanctuary and a royal temple.”

and took a hundred prophets and hid them, fifty men to a cave, and provided them with food and water when Jezebel slaughtered the LORD’s prophets.

Above all, you know this: No prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet’s own interpretation,because no prophecy ever came by the will of man; instead, men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and persecuted us. They displease God and are hostile to everyone,by keeping us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. As a result, they are constantly filling up their sins to the limit, and wrath has overtaken them at last.
