And I brought you from the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness in order to possess the land of the Amorite.

I brought you up out of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness to give you the land of the Amorites.

“ People of Israel, I brought you up out of Egypt. I led you in the desert for 40 years. I gave you the land of the Amorites.

Also it was I who brought you up out of the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

It was I who rescued you from Egypt and led you through the desert for forty years, so you could possess the land of the Amorites.

And it was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And led you in the wilderness for forty years So that you might take possession of the land of the Amorite.

Also it was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And led you forty years through the wilderness, To possess the land of the Amorite.

Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

And I brought you from the land of Egypt and led you 40 years in the wilderness in order to possess the land of the Amorite.

Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

I brought you up from the land of Egypt; I led you through the wilderness for forty years so you could take the Amorites’ land as your own.

Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this immense wilderness. The LORD your God has been with you these past forty years, and you have lacked nothing.’

On that same day the LORD brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt according to their military divisions.

Listen to this message that the LORD has spoken against you, Israelites, against the entire clan that I brought from the land of Egypt:

Israelites, are you not like the Cushites to me? This is the LORD’s declaration. Didn’t I bring Israel from the land of Egypt, the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Arameans from Kir?

Indeed, I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from that place of slavery. I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam ahead of you.

And for about forty years he put up with them in the wilderness;

God turned away and gave them up to worship the stars of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: House of Israel, did you bring me offerings and sacrifices for forty years in the wilderness?

I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery.

“‘ So I brought them out of the land of Egypt and led them into the wilderness.

You found his heart faithful in your sight, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites, and Girgashites— to give it to his descendants. You have fulfilled your promise, for you are righteous.You saw the oppression of our ancestors in Egypt and heard their cry at the Red Sea.You performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, all his officials, and all the people of his land, for you knew how arrogantly they treated our ancestors. You made a name for yourself that endures to this day.You divided the sea before them, and they crossed through it on dry ground. You hurled their pursuers into the depths like a stone into raging water.You led them with a pillar of cloud by day, and with a pillar of fire by night, to illuminate the way they should go.

Your children, who you said would be plunder, your sons who don’t yet know good from evil, will enter there. I will give them the land, and they will take possession of it.

For he remembered his holy promise to Abraham his servant.He brought his people out with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy.

I said to you: You have reached the hill country of the Amorites, which the LORD our God is giving us.See, the LORD your God has set the land before you. Go up and take possession of it as the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has told you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.

For forty years I was disgusted with that generation; I said,“ They are a people whose hearts go astray; they do not know my ways.”

Remember that the LORD your God led you on the entire journey these forty years in the wilderness, so that he might humble you and test you to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.He humbled you by letting you go hungry; then he gave you manna to eat, which you and your ancestors had not known, so that you might learn that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.Your clothing did not wear out, and your feet did not swell these forty years.

You provided for them in the wilderness forty years, and they lacked nothing. Their clothes did not wear out, and their feet did not swell.

You performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt and still do today, both in Israel and among all mankind. You made a name for yourself, as is the case today.You brought your people Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and with great terror.

and I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the territory of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

He struck the firstborn of the Egyptians His faithful love endures forever.and brought Israel out from among them His faithful love endures forever.

I will bring your children whom you said would become plunder into the land you rejected, and they will enjoy it.But as for you, your corpses will fall in this wilderness.Your children will be shepherds in the wilderness for forty years and bear the penalty for your acts of unfaithfulness until all your corpses lie scattered in the wilderness.You will bear the consequences of your iniquities forty years based on the number of the forty days that you scouted the land, a year for each day. You will know my displeasure.I, the LORD, have spoken. I swear that I will do this to the entire evil community that has conspired against me. They will come to an end in the wilderness, and there they will die.”
