But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus.

Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness,

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.But of the other apostles I saw no one except James, the Lord’s brother.

Barnabas went out to Tarsus to look for Saul.

it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As he traveled, he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”He said,“ Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.But rise up and enter into the city, then you will be told what you must do.”

Ananias departed and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

The report concerning them came to the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem. They sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch,

Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed the Christ, that he is the Son of God.All who heard him were amazed, and said,“ Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”But Saul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.

Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul and Barnabas, and some others of them, to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.

Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem when they had fulfilled their service, also taking with them John who was called Mark.

But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.But Paul didn’t think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn’t go with them to do the work.Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,

As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said,“ Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.”

on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News,for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

And the rest of the Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.

and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, those who were reputed to be pillars, gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.

Or have only Barnabas and I no right to not work?

and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.
