用過飯，力量就增加了。掃羅同大馬色的門徒在一起有些日子，

也沒有上耶路撒冷去見那些比我先做使徒的；我乃是往亞拉伯去，再回到大馬色。後來過了三年，我才上耶路撒冷去拜訪磯法，在他那裏停留了十五天。至於別的使徒呢、除了主的兄弟雅各、我都沒有見。

『我回到耶路撒冷來；在殿裏禱告的時候，我魂遊象外，看見主對我說：「趕快吧，快快出耶路撒冷，因為你為我作的見證，人必不接受」。我說：「主啊，他們自己知道、我怎樣在各會堂裏監禁鞭打信靠你的人；並且為你捨生的作證人司提反的血迸流的時候，我本人還站在旁邊贊同着，看守殺掉他之人的衣裳呢！」

那時必有許多人要絆跌，要彼此送官，彼此恨惡；
