吃过饭，体力就恢复了。扫罗与在大马士革的门徒们住了几天，

也没有上耶路撒冷去见那些比我先做使徒的，而是往阿拉伯去，然后再回到大马士革。三年以后，我才上耶路撒冷去见矶法，在他那里住了十五天。至于其他的使徒，除了主的弟弟雅各，我都没有见过。

“后来，我回到耶路撒冷，在圣殿里祷告的时候，魂游象外，看见主对我说：‘快！赶快离开耶路撒冷，因为他们不会接受你为我做的见证。’“我就说：‘主啊，他们知道我曾经到各会堂，把信靠你的人关进监狱，还鞭打他们。并且当你的见证人司提反受害流血的时候，我自己也站在旁边赞同，还为那些杀害他的人看守衣服。’

那时，许多人将被绊倒，彼此出卖，彼此憎恨；
