總之、予恃全能之主、故能應付萬變、遊刃有餘耳。

行經悲谷。化為甘泉。及時之雨。膏澤是宣。

以徵基督當先蒙害、後當復活；又曰：『所傳耶穌、即基督也。』

然主謂吾曰：『吾之聖寵、已足助爾、蓋吾德之彰、即在柔弱中也。』故吾欣然以柔弱為樂、庶幾基督之神德、能常寓吾身。吾為基督之故、凡肉體之柔弱、以及一切侮辱、艱難、窘迫、困苦、皆所甘受。蓋吾之弱、正吾之所以強也。
