“ Get up and go to the street called Straight,” the Lord said to him,“ to the house of Judas, and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, since he is praying there.

And the Lord said to him,“ Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying,

“ Get up and go to the street called Straight,” the Lord said to him,“ to the house of Judas, and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, since he is praying there.

Then the Lord told him,“ Get up and go to the street called‘ Straight,’ and at Judas’ house look for a man from Tarsus named Saul. For he is praying,

The Lord said to him,“ Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judah for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,

“ I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our fathers’ law, and was zealous toward God as you all are today.

But Paul said,“ I am a Jew from Tarsus, in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city; and I implore you, permit me to speak to the people.”

When the brethren found out, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsus.

Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to seek Saul.

And he told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him,‘ Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter,

“ I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself:‘ You have chastised me, and I was chastised, Like an untrained bull; Restore me, and I will return, For You are the Lord my God.Surely, after my turning, I repented; And after I was instructed, I struck myself on the thigh; I was ashamed, yes, even humiliated, Because I bore the reproach of my youth.’Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord.

Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the fish’s belly.And he said:“ I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, And He answered me.“ Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, And You heard my voice.For You cast me into the deep, Into the heart of the seas, And the floods surrounded me; All Your billows and Your waves passed over me.Then I said,‘ I have been cast out of Your sight; Yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.’

“ And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,“ Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert.

He keeps back his soul from the Pit, And his life from perishing by the sword.“ Man is also chastened with pain on his bed, And with strong pain in many of his bones,So that his life abhors bread, And his soul succulent food.His flesh wastes away from sight, And his bones stick out which once were not seen.Yes, his soul draws near the Pit, And his life to the executioners.“ If there is a messenger for him, A mediator, one among a thousand, To show man His uprightness,Then He is gracious to him, and says,‘ Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom’;His flesh shall be young like a child’s, He shall return to the days of his youth.He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness.Then he looks at men and says,‘ I have sinned, and perverted what was right, And it did not profit me.’He will redeem his soul from going down to the Pit, And his life shall see the light.

Now send men to Joppa, and send for Simon whose surname is Peter.He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. He will tell you what you must do.”

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry.He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.

And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:“ Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself,‘ God, I thank You that I am not like other men— extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me a sinner!’I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Then he said to Jesus,“ Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”And Jesus said to him,“ Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’

Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long.For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. SelahI acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. SelahFor this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of the Lord God of Israel, indeed they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.Also his prayer and how God received his entreaty, and all his sin and trespass, and the sites where he built high places and set up wooden images and carved images, before he was humbled, indeed they are written among the sayings of Hozai.

Jesus answered and said to her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you,‘ Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
