So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said,“ Moses, Moses!” And he said,“ Here I am.”

And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. So he arose and went to Eli, and said,“ Here I am, for you did call me.” Then Eli perceived that the Lord had called the boy.Therefore Eli said to Samuel,“ Go, lie down; and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say,‘ speak, Lord, for Your servant hears.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times,“ Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered,“ Speak, for Your servant hears.”

Now while Peter wondered within himself what this vision which he had seen meant, behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate.And they called and asked whether Simon, whose surname was Peter, was lodging there.While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him,“ Behold, three men are seeking you.Arise therefore, go down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.”

‘ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.

But if He says thus:‘ I have no delight in you,’ here I am, let Him do to me as seems good to Him.”

Then He said,“ Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
