昔有丟大起、每自矜詡、附之者約四百人、丟大服誅、從者星散、歸於烏有、

徑行於島、至帕弗遇猶太巫者、偽為先知、名巴耶穌、

由己言者、求榮己、惟求榮遣之者為真、心無不義也、

人將自私、好利、驕泰、訕謗、逆親、辜恩、斁倫、

博士亦施厥術、欲生蚋、而術不行。人畜既被嘬。博士告法老曰、此乃上帝施其有能之手、維時法老剛愎厥心、仍不聽從、而耶和華前言應矣。○

具嚮往之故、因久以巫術、使民異之也、

凡焚獻子女、及卜筮術數、占師巫覡、或左道、或崇憑於卜神者、或為巫覡、或用術而招魂者、俱勿留於四境之內、

有敬虔之名、無敬虔之實、若此者、當遠之、

信者多至、自言其罪、自訴所行、素行異術者、集己書、焚眾前、其值五萬金、主道盛行而遠播、有如此、○

昔雅尼、佯庇、為摩西敵、若此者、亦敵正理、其人壞心術、揆以主道、終必見擯、故不能持久、其橫逆必暴露於眾、如前二人然、

彼惡人妄自尊崇、謂超於凡稱上帝、世所崇拜者、而敵之、入上帝殿、居上帝位、自以為上帝、

行大異跡、使火自天、降於人前、於獸前行異跡、惑天下億兆、使人作像、奉受傷得生之獸、

埃及博士亦施厥術、以行是事。法老剛愎其心、不肯聽從、耶和華之言應矣。

憑於卜神、而為巫覡。有狥欲以從者、我必罰之、絕於民中。

博士與埃及人、均染此疾、故博士不能立於摩西前。

法老召哲人巫覡、即埃及之博士、亦施厥術、以行是事。

凡梟獍、巫覡、淫亂、兇暴、拜偶像、好誑言者、出之邑外、

素有不為乖謬所囿者、今為偽師矜誇、虛誕、縱欲、邪侈所惑、
