斐理伯遂趨而就之、聞其誦先知意灑雅書、乃問之曰：『爾所誦者、果明其意乎？』

Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet.“ Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.

So Philip ran up to it and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. He asked him,“ Do you understand what you’re reading?”

那撒在好土裡的，就是人聽了道，又明白了，結出果實來，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。”

凡是聽了天國的道卻不明白的，那惡者就來把撒在他心中的奪去。這就是撒在路旁的。

你們研究聖經，因為你們認為聖經中有永生，其實為我作證的就是這聖經，

“當你們看見但以理先知所說的‘那造成荒涼的可憎者’，站在聖地的時候（讀者必須領悟），

但在教會中，我寧願用理智說五句話去教導人，勝過用方言說萬句話。

因為你使我的心舒暢，我就跑在你誡命的路上。

凡是你手可作的，都當盡力去作；因為在你所要去的陰間裡，既沒有工作，又沒有籌謀；沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

主對他們說：“這就是我從前與你們同在的時候，對你們說過的話：摩西的律法、先知書和詩篇上所記關於我的一切事，都必定應驗。”於是他開他們的心竅，使他們明白聖經；

耶穌叫群眾前來，對他們說：“你們要聽，也要明白。

“當你們看見‘那造成荒涼的可憎者’，站在不該站的地方（讀者必須領悟），那時，住在猶太的應當逃到山上；

因此，不要作糊塗人，要明白甚麼是主的旨意。

“這一切你們明白嗎？”他們回答：“明白。”

在這裡要有智慧。有悟性的人，就讓他計算獸的數字，因為這是人的數字，它的數字是六百六十六。

耶穌說：“我的食物就是遵行差我來者的旨意，並且完成他的工作。

他就動身去了。有一個衣索匹亞人，是衣索匹亞女王干大基有權力的太監，掌管女王全部國庫。他上耶路撒冷去禮拜。
