But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

彼得责备他说：“你和你的钱都一同毁灭吧！因为你以为可以用钱买上帝的恩赐！

彼得对他说：“你的银子跟你一同灭亡吧！因为你以为神的恩赐，是可以用钱买的。

彼得对他说：“你的银子和你一起灭亡吧！因为你以为神的恩赐可以用钱买到！

彼得說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因你想神的恩賜是可以用錢買的。

彼得對他說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因為你想上帝的恩賜是可以用錢買的。

彼得對他說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因為你想神的恩賜是可以用錢買的。

彼得責備他說：「你和你的錢都一同毀滅吧！因為你以為可以用錢買上帝的恩賜！

彼得對他說：“你的銀子跟你一同滅亡吧！因為你以為神的恩賜，是可以用錢買的。

彼得對他說：『你的銀子跟你一同滅亡！因為你以為上帝白白的恩是可以用錢買得來的。

彼得對他說：「你的銀子和你一起滅亡吧！因為你以為神的恩賜可以用錢買到！

彼得謂之曰、爾金與爾偕亡、因爾意上帝之賜、可以金而獲也、

彼得曰、金與汝偕亡、爾意上帝之賜、可以金市耶、

彼得謂之曰、爾之金與爾偕亡、因爾意天主之賜、以金可購也、

伯鐸祿曰：『願爾與金偕亡！爾思以金錢易取天主之恩賜乎？

Peter answered:“ May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!

Peter answered,“ May your money be destroyed with you! Do you think you can buy God’s gift with money?

But Peter replied,“ May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought!

But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could acquire the gift of God with money!

But Peter said to him,“ Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!

But Peter said unto him, Thy silver perish with thee, because thou hast thought to obtain the gift of God with money.

But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought the gift of God could be obtained with money!

But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could acquire God’s gift with money!

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

Then Daniel answered and said before the king,“ Let your gifts be for yourself, and give your rewards to another. Nevertheless, I will read the writing to the king and make known to him the interpretation.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay.

And Peter said to them,“ Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud,

Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days.

Repent, therefore, of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intent of your heart may be forgiven you.

They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing,but was rebuked for his own transgression; a speechless donkey spoke with human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm. For them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved.

Take care lest there be an unworthy thought in your heart and you say,‘ The seventh year, the year of release is near,’ and your eye look grudgingly on your poor brother, and you give him nothing, and he cry to the Lord against you, and you be guilty of sin.

I will send it out, declares the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of him who swears falsely by my name. And it shall remain in his house and consume it, both timber and stones.”

And you shall not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest and abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction.

“ Woe to him who gets evil gain for his house, to set his nest on high, to be safe from the reach of harm!You have devised shame for your house by cutting off many peoples; you have forfeited your life.

“ Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

( Now this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness, and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.

And Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver and the cloak and the bar of gold, and his sons and daughters and his oxen and donkeys and sheep and his tent and all that he had. And they brought them up to the Valley of Achor.And Joshua said,“ Why did you bring trouble on us? The Lord brings trouble on you today.” And all Israel stoned him with stones. They burned them with fire and stoned them with stones.

Then he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and he came and stood before him. And he said,“ Behold, I know that there is no God in all the earth but in Israel; so accept now a present from your servant.”But he said,“ As the Lord lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none.” And he urged him to take it, but he refused.

And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.

But he said to him,“ Did not my heart go when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Was it a time to accept money and garments, olive orchards and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male servants and female servants?Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever.” So he went out from his presence a leper, like snow.

If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?”

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

Then when Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he changed his mind and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders,saying,“ I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” They said,“ What is that to us? See to it yourself.”And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, he departed, and he went and hanged himself.

The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, but gracious words are pure.
