And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

異邦奴之者、我必責之、後爾苗裔將出、事我於此矣、

天主又云、勒彼為奴之國、我必責之、後爾苗裔將出、事我於此處、

惟天主又曰：「奴待若輩之國、吾當懲之、嗣後若輩將被解放、而事我於斯土。」

But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves,’ God said,‘ and afterward they will come out of that country and worship me in this place.’

But I will punish the nation that makes them slaves,’ God said.‘ After that, they will leave that country and worship me here.’( Genesis 15:13, 14)

‘ But I will judge the nation that they serve,’ said God,‘ and after that they shall come out and worship me in this place.’

‘ But I will punish the nation that enslaves them,’ God said,‘ and in the end they will come out and worship me here in this place.’

I will judge the nation that they will serve as slaves, God said. After this, they will come out and worship me in this place.

‘ And whatever nation to which they are enslaved I Myself will judge,’ said God,‘ and after that they will come out and serve Me in this place.’

‘ And the nation to whom they will be in bondage I will judge,’ said God,‘ and after that they shall come out and serve Me in this place.’

And the nation to which they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

I will judge the nation that they will serve as slaves, God said. After this, they will come out and worship Me in this place.

But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves,’ said God,‘ and after these things they will come out of there and worship me in this place.’

‘ I will judge the nation to which they will be in bondage,’ said God,‘ and after that they will come out, and serve me in this place.’

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this[ shall be] a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

For God[ is] my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces,[ and] gavest him[ to be] meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan:And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels[ among them].He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of[ their] strength in the tabernacles of Ham:

Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.[ Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old.[ Art] thou not it that hath cut Rahab,[ and] wounded the dragon?[ Art] thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies,[ and] my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.And the Egyptians shall know that I[ am] the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they.And Moses[ was] fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast[ it] before Pharaoh,[ and] it shall become a serpent.And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh’s heart[ is] hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.

And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites[ is] not yet full.

They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies,[ and] lice in all their coasts.He gave them hail for rain,[ and] flaming fire in their land.He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

And didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red sea;And shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou get thee a name, as[ it is] this day.And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the mighty waters.
