以資歷論、爾等此時應可為人師矣；而在實際、仍須人教爾等以淺近之教理、一如乳臭兒之未可遽進以乾糧也。

曰：所受之恩、不勝縷述、而其最著者、厥為天主以聖言託付其手也。

爾曹受天神所傳授之律法、而莫之守也。』

凡任宣講者、當講述聖道、一若為天主之舌人者；其任服務者、則當依天主所賦之才力、儘量貢獻。總之、任作何事、務求以耶穌基督之名、歸榮天主。但願天主享受光榮與德能、永世靡暨、心焉祝之。

蓋摩西所授者律法耳、至妙寵真諦、則由耶穌基督而溥施。

閱四十載、在西乃山曠野、有一天神現於棘叢火焰中、

主保吾族。法度以定。叮嚀歷祖。守之惟謹。並告後世。恐懼修省。惟主是仰。惟主是信。克念聖蹟。允遵大命。毋效乃父。頑梗成性。懷主不篤。厥心不正。法蓮子孫。攜弓手刃。臨陣之日。逡巡而遯。

然則律法何為而作乎？蓋人多為非作惡、乃有律法之添設、以俟承受嗣業者之來臨。且律法之制、乃由主之使者授之於居間人之手。

若見人子昇歸本宅、又將如何？

曩者、被人拒斥「孰令長吾而為司讞」者、即此摩西也、而天主使天神顯現棘叢之中、命其領導義塞、救拔義塞者、即此摩西也。

而因信成義之道則云：『毋私心妄想、誰能登天、以降基督於人間？誰能入淵、以起基督於死中？』然則如之何？曰：『聖道不遠、在爾口角、在爾心中。』此即指吾人所傳信德之道而言也。申言之、爾第以爾之口、承認耶穌為主、且以爾之心、篤信天主曾起之於死者之中；則爾之得救必矣。蓋中心信之、所以成義；口角傳之、所以蒙恩也。

我兄弟骨肉者、義塞人也；其名分則屬天主之子女；凡光榮、盟約、律法、禮儀、以及重重恩諾、無一而非其固有之家業；

夫以天神所傳之誡命尚且一成不變、有犯必懲；

蓋天主之道、活潑靈通、利於雙刃之劍、刺透魂魄、徹入骨髓、且能燭幽洞微、即心中一念之萌、一意之起、靡有不察、
