This is the Moses who said to the Israelites,‘ God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers.’

“这个人就是摩西，他曾告诉以色列子民：‘神将要从你们兄弟中给你们兴起一位先知，像兴起我一样。’

那曾對以色列人說『神要從你們弟兄中間給你們興起一位先知像我』的，就是這位摩西。

這人是摩西，就是那曾對以色列人說『上帝要從你們弟兄中給你們興起一位先知像我』的。

這人是摩西，就是那曾對以色列人說『神要從你們弟兄中給你們興起一位先知像我』的。

就是這位摩西曾對以色列人說，『上帝要在你們中間興起一位像我一樣的先知。』

以前那位對以色列人說‘神要從你們弟兄中間，給你們興起一位先知像我’的，就是這摩西。

這就是那一位摩西，那曾對以色列人說：「上帝必從你們弟兄中給你們挺生一位神言人、像挺生了我一樣」的。

「這個人就是摩西，他曾告訴以色列子民：『神將要從你們兄弟中給你們興起一位先知，像興起我一樣。』

曾語以色列眾子曰、上帝將於爾兄弟中、挺生先知若我者、即此摩西也、

謂以色列人、曰、主、爾上帝將於爾昆弟中、挺生先知若我、爾必聽之、

此摩西曾語以色列人云、主爾之天主、將於爾兄弟中、挺生一先知若我者、爾宜聽之、

又謂義塞人曰：「天主將於爾兄弟中、立一先知、正如立我者、」即此摩西也。

“ This is the Moses who told the Israelites,‘ God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your own people.’

“ This is the same Moses who spoke to the Israelites.‘ God will send you a prophet,’ he said.‘ He will be like me. He will come from your own people.’( Deuteronomy 18:15)

“ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers— it is to him you shall listen—just as you desired of the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said,‘ Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.’And the Lord said to me,‘ They are right in what they have spoken.I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him.

Moses said,‘ The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet shall be destroyed from the people.’

Then Pilate said to him,“ So you are a king?” Jesus answered,“ You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world— to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him.And Peter said to Jesus,“ Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,“ This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”

This is the one who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him at Mount Sinai, and with our fathers. He received living oracles to give to us.

And behold, two men were talking with him, Moses and Elijah,who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud,“ This is my beloved Son; listen to him.”

And a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him!”

Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”

Then they answered and said before the king,“ Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you, O king, or the injunction you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

In the time of his distress he became yet more faithless to the Lord— this same King Ahaz.
