This same Moses they had rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and judge?’ God sent as both ruler and deliverer through the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“百姓曾拒绝这位摩西，说，‘谁立你做我们的首领和审判官？’上帝却借着在荆棘中显现的天使亲自差遣他，立他为首领和拯救者。

他们拒绝了这位摩西，说：‘谁立了你作领袖和审判官呢？’但神藉着在荆棘中向他显现的使者的手，派他作领袖和救赎者。

“这摩西就是他们拒绝说‘谁委任你做首领和审判官’的那位，神却藉着那在荆棘中向他显现的天使的手，差派他做首领、做救赎者。

這摩西就是百姓棄絕說『誰立你作我們的首領和審判官』的；神卻藉那在荊棘中顯現之使者的手差派他作首領、作救贖的。

「這摩西就是有人曾棄絕他說『誰立你作我們的領袖和審判官』的，上帝卻藉那在荊棘中顯現的天使的手差派他作領袖，作解救者。

「這摩西就是有人曾棄絕他說『誰立你作我們的領袖和審判官』的，神卻藉那在荊棘中顯現的天使的手差派他作領袖，作解救者。

「百姓曾拒絕這位摩西，說，『誰立你作我們的首領和審判官？』上帝卻藉著在荊棘中顯現的天使親自差遣他，立他為首領和拯救者。

他們拒絕了這位摩西，說：‘誰立了你作領袖和審判官呢？’但神藉著在荊棘中向他顯現的使者的手，派他作領袖和救贖者。

『這位摩西、族民所棄絕而對他說：「誰設立你做官長和審判員」的，這一位、上帝卻藉那在刺叢中向他顯現的天使的手、差遣了，做執政者做釋放者。

「這摩西就是他們拒絕說『誰委任你做首領和審判官』的那位，神卻藉著那在荊棘中向他顯現的天使的手，差派他做首領、做救贖者。

夫此摩西、即民所拒云、誰立爾為有司刑官者、乃上帝以棘叢中所見天使之手、遣之為有司為援救者矣、

民嘗拒摩西、云、誰立爾為有司刑官耶、而上帝託棘中所見之使者、遣摩西為有司救主、

此摩西、民曾拒之云、誰立爾為有司刑官耶、而天主託荊棘中所現之天使、遣之為有司、為救主、

曩者、被人拒斥「孰令長吾而為司讞」者、即此摩西也、而天主使天神顯現棘叢之中、命其領導義塞、救拔義塞者、即此摩西也。

“ This is the same Moses they had rejected with the words,‘ Who made you ruler and judge?’ He was sent to be their ruler and deliverer by God himself, through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“ This is the same Moses the two men of Israel would not accept. They had said,‘ Who made you ruler and judge?’ But God himself sent Moses to rule the people of Israel and set them free. He spoke to Moses through an angel. The angel had appeared to him in the bush.

“ This Moses, whom they rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’— this man God sent as both ruler and redeemer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“ So God sent back the same man his people had previously rejected when they demanded,‘ Who made you a ruler and judge over us?’ Through the angel who appeared to him in the burning bush, God sent Moses to be their ruler and savior.

“ This Moses, whom they rejected when they said, Who appointed you a ruler and a judge?— this one God sent as a ruler and a deliverer through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“ This Moses whom they disowned, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one whom God sent to be both a ruler and a deliverer with the help of the angel who appeared to him in the thorn bush.

“ This Moses whom they rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? him hath God sent to be both a ruler and a deliverer with the hand of the angel that appeared to him in the bush.

“ This Moses, whom they rejected when they said, Who appointed you a ruler and a judge?— this one God sent as a ruler and a redeemer by means of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send[ to be] a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

“ This Moses, whom they refused, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’— God has sent him as both a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

So when we cried to the LORD, he heard our voice and sent a messenger, and has brought us up out of Egypt. Now we are here in Kadesh, a town on the edge of your country.

The stone which the builders discarded has become the cornerstone.This is the LORD’s work. We consider it amazing!

He raises the poor from the dirt, and lifts up the needy from the garbage pile,that he might seat him with princes, with the princes of his people.

For God is the judge! He brings one down and exalts another.

The angel of God, who was going before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them.

But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying,‘ We do not want this man to be king over us!’

In the morning watch the LORD looked down on the Egyptian army through the pillar of fire and cloud, and he threw the Egyptian army into a panic.

So now go, lead the people to the place I have spoken to you about. See, my angel will go before you. But on the day that I punish, I will indeed punish them for their sin.”

But the man who was unfairly hurting his neighbor pushed Moses aside, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and judge over us?You don’t want to kill me the way you killed the Egyptian yesterday, do you?’

They sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:“ Great and astounding are your deeds, Lord God, the All- Powerful! Just and true are your ways, King over the nations!

God exalted him to his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

“ After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the desert of Mount Sinai, in the flame of a burning bush.

Moses said,‘ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must obey him in everything he tells you.

The patriarchs, because they were jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt. But God was with him,and rescued him from all his troubles, and granted him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.Then a famine occurred throughout Egypt and Canaan, causing great suffering, and our ancestors could not find food.So when Jacob heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent our ancestors there the first time.On their second visit Joseph made himself known to his brothers again, and Joseph’s family became known to Pharaoh.So Joseph sent a message and invited his father Jacob and all his relatives to come, seventy- five people in all.So Jacob went down to Egypt and died there, along with our ancestors,

Therefore let all the house of Israel know beyond a doubt that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ.”

Then they shouted back,“ Not this man, but Barabbas!”( Now Barabbas was a revolutionary.)

“ You stubborn people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit, like your ancestors did!

“ I am going to send an angel before you to protect you as you journey and to bring you into the place that I have prepared.Take heed because of him, and obey his voice; do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgressions, for my name is in him.But if you diligently obey him and do all that I command, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will be an adversary to your adversaries.For my angel will go before you and bring you to the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, and I will destroy them completely.

I will send an angel before you, and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

But some wicked men said,“ How can this man save us?” They despised him and did not even bring him a gift. But Saul said nothing about it.

You led your people like a flock of sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

You performed awesome signs against Pharaoh, against his servants, and against all the people of his land, for you knew that the Egyptians had acted presumptuously against them. You made for yourself a name that is celebrated to this day.You split the sea before them, and they crossed through the sea on dry ground! But you threw their pursuers into the depths, like a stone into surging waters.You guided them with a pillar of cloud by day and with a pillar of fire by night to illumine for them the path they were to travel.“ You came down on Mount Sinai and spoke with them from heaven. You provided them with just judgments, true laws, and good statutes and commandments.You made known to them your holy Sabbath; you issued commandments, statutes, and law to them through Moses your servant.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,

For if the message spoken through angels proved to be so firm that every violation or disobedience received its just penalty,

Then they shouted out,“ Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!” Pilate asked,“ Shall I crucify your king?” The high priests replied,“ We have no king except Caesar!”

Through all that they suffered, he suffered too. The messenger sent from his very presence delivered them. In his love and mercy he protected them; he lifted them up and carried them throughout ancient times.

When Jacob entered Egypt, your ancestors cried out to the LORD. The LORD sent Moses and Aaron, and they led your ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.

The LORD said to Samuel,“ Do everything the people request of you. For it is not you that they have rejected, but it is me that they have rejected as their king.Just as they have done from the day that I brought them up from Egypt until this very day, they have rejected me and have served other gods. This is what they are also doing to you.

Moses said to the LORD,“ See, you have been saying to me,‘ Bring this people up,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. But you said,‘ I know you by name, and also you have found favor in my sight.’Now if I have found favor in your sight, show me your way, that I may know you, that I may continue to find favor in your sight. And see that this nation is your people.”And the LORD said,“ My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”And Moses said to him,“ If your presence does not go with us, do not take us up from here.

His people remembered the ancient times. Where is the one who brought them up out of the sea, along with the shepherd of his flock? Where is the one who placed his holy Spirit among them,the one who made his majestic power available to Moses, who divided the water before them, gaining for himself a lasting reputation,
