“ This Moses, whom they rejected when they said, Who appointed you a ruler and a judge?— this one God sent as a ruler and a redeemer by means of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“百姓曾拒绝这位摩西，说，‘谁立你做我们的首领和审判官？’上帝却借着在荆棘中显现的天使亲自差遣他，立他为首领和拯救者。

他们拒绝了这位摩西，说：‘谁立了你作领袖和审判官呢？’但神藉着在荆棘中向他显现的使者的手，派他作领袖和救赎者。

夫此摩西、即民所拒云、誰立爾為有司刑官者、乃上帝以棘叢中所見天使之手、遣之為有司為援救者矣、

民嘗拒摩西、云、誰立爾為有司刑官耶、而上帝託棘中所見之使者、遣摩西為有司救主、

此摩西、民曾拒之云、誰立爾為有司刑官耶、而天主託荊棘中所現之天使、遣之為有司、為救主、

曩者、被人拒斥「孰令長吾而為司讞」者、即此摩西也、而天主使天神顯現棘叢之中、命其領導義塞、救拔義塞者、即此摩西也。

“ This is the same Moses they had rejected with the words,‘ Who made you ruler and judge?’ He was sent to be their ruler and deliverer by God himself, through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“ This is the same Moses the two men of Israel would not accept. They had said,‘ Who made you ruler and judge?’ But God himself sent Moses to rule the people of Israel and set them free. He spoke to Moses through an angel. The angel had appeared to him in the bush.

“ This Moses, whom they rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’— this man God sent as both ruler and redeemer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“ So God sent back the same man his people had previously rejected when they demanded,‘ Who made you a ruler and judge over us?’ Through the angel who appeared to him in the burning bush, God sent Moses to be their ruler and savior.

“ This Moses, whom they rejected when they said, Who appointed you a ruler and a judge?— this one God sent as a ruler and a deliverer through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“ This Moses whom they disowned, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one whom God sent to be both a ruler and a deliverer with the help of the angel who appeared to him in the thorn bush.

“ This Moses whom they rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? him hath God sent to be both a ruler and a deliverer with the hand of the angel that appeared to him in the bush.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send[ to be] a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

This same Moses they had rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and judge?’ God sent as both ruler and deliverer through the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

“ This Moses, whom they refused, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’— God has sent him as both a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

When we cried out to the Lord, He heard our voice, sent an angel, and brought us out of Egypt. Now look, we are in Kadesh, a city on the border of your territory.

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.This came from the Lord; it is wonderful in our eyes.

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the garbage pilein order to seat them with nobles— with the nobles of His people.

for God is the Judge: He brings down one and exalts another.

Then the Angel of God, who was going in front of the Israelite forces, moved and went behind them. The pillar of cloud moved from in front of them and stood behind them.

“ But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying,‘ We don’t want this man to rule over us!’

Then during the morning watch, the Lord looked down on the Egyptian forces from the pillar of fire and cloud, and threw them into confusion.

Now go, lead the people to the place I told you about; see, My angel will go before you. But on the day I settle accounts, I will hold them accountable for their sin.”

“ But the one who was mistreating his neighbor pushed him away, saying: Who appointed you a ruler and a judge over us?Do you want to kill me, the same way you killed the Egyptian yesterday?

They sang the song of God’s servant Moses and the song of the Lamb: Great and awe-inspiring are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are Your ways, King of the Nations.

God exalted this man to His right hand as ruler and Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

After 40 years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in the flame of a burning bush.

Moses said: The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to Him in everything He will say to you.

“ The patriarchs became jealous of Joseph and sold him into Egypt, but God was with himand rescued him out of all his troubles. He gave him favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who appointed him ruler over Egypt and over his whole household.Then a famine and great suffering came over all of Egypt and Canaan, and our ancestors could find no food.When Jacob heard there was grain in Egypt, he sent our ancestors the first time.The second time, Joseph was revealed to his brothers, and Joseph’s family became known to Pharaoh.Joseph then invited his father Jacob and all his relatives, 75 people in all,and Jacob went down to Egypt. He and our ancestors died there,

“ Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah!”

They shouted back,“ Not this man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a revolutionary.

“ You stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit; as your ancestors did, so do you.

“ I am going to send an angel before you to protect you on the way and bring you to the place I have prepared.Be attentive to him and listen to his voice. Do not defy him, because he will not forgive your acts of rebellion, for My name is in him.But if you will carefully obey him and do everything I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.For My angel will go before you and bring you to the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.

I will send an angel ahead of you and will drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

But some wicked men said,“ How can this guy save us?” They despised him and did not bring him a gift, but Saul said nothing.

You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

You performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, all his officials, and all the people of his land, for You knew how arrogantly they treated our ancestors. You made a name for Yourself that endures to this day.You divided the sea before them, and they crossed through it on dry ground. You hurled their pursuers into the depths like a stone into churning waters.You led them with a pillar of cloud by day, and with a pillar of fire by night, to illuminate the way they should go.You came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke to them from heaven. You gave them impartial ordinances, reliable instructions, and good statutes and commands.You revealed Your holy Sabbath to them, and gave them commands, statutes, and instruction through Your servant Moses.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,

But they shouted,“ Take Him away! Take Him away! Crucify Him!” Pilate said to them,“ Should I crucify your king?”“ We have no king but Caesar!” the chief priests answered.

In all their suffering, He suffered, and the Angel of His Presence saved them. He redeemed them because of His love and compassion; He lifted them up and carried them all the days of the past.

“ When Jacob went to Egypt, your ancestors cried out to the Lord, and He sent them Moses and Aaron, who led your ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.

But the Lord told him,“ Listen to the people and everything they say to you. They have not rejected you; they have rejected Me as their king.They are doing the same thing to you that they have done to Me, since the day I brought them out of Egypt until this day, abandoning Me and worshiping other gods.

Moses said to the Lord,“ Look, You have told me,‘ Lead this people up,’ but You have not let me know whom You will send with me. You said,‘ I know you by name, and you have also found favor in My sight.’Now if I have indeed found favor in Your sight, please teach me Your ways, and I will know You and find favor in Your sight. Now consider that this nation is Your people.”Then He replied,“ My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”“ If Your presence does not go,” Moses responded to Him,“ don’t make us go up from here.

Then He remembered the days of the past, the days of Moses and his people. Where is He who brought them out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit among the flock?He sent His glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand, divided the waters before them to obtain eternal fame for Himself,
