Epaphras, who is one of you and a slave of Christ, greets you. He is always struggling in prayer on your behalf, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for those who have not met me face to face.

And we have different gifts according to the grace given to us. If the gift is prophecy, that individual must use it in proportion to his faith.If it is service, he must serve; if it is teaching, he must teach;if it is exhortation, he must exhort; if it is contributing, he must do so with sincerity; if it is leadership, he must do so with diligence; if it is showing mercy, he must do so with cheerfulness.

For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,I do not cease to give thanks for you when I remember you in my prayers.I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,

While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”Then, after they had fasted and prayed and placed their hands on them, they sent them off.
