往立於殿、以此維生之言、悉語於民、

且謂之曰『往立聖殿中、以生命之道布之於人。』

“ Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said,“ and tell the people all about this new life.”

“ Go! Stand in the temple courtyard,” the angel said.“ Tell the people all about this new life.”

But Simon Peter answered Him,“ Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

Then Baruch read from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper court at the entry of the New Gate of the LORD’s house, in the hearing of all the people.

who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved.’

Then Pashhur struck Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the Lord.And it happened on the next day that Pashhur brought Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him,“ The Lord has not called your name Pashhur, but Magor-Missabib.

Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said,“ By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?”

“ Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say,‘ Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord!’”

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word.

Jesus answered him,“ I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing.

So Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said,“ All the words which the Lord has said we will do.”

And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”

Thus says the Lord:“ Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and there speak this word,and say,‘ Hear the word of the Lord, O king of Judah, you who sit on the throne of David, you and your servants and your people who enter these gates!

For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

Then Jeremiah came from Tophet, where the Lord had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the Lord’s house and said to all the people,“ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:‘ Behold, I will bring on this city and on all her towns all the doom that I have pronounced against it, because they have stiffened their necks that they might not hear My words.’”

“ Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
