他們一下來，眾人立刻認出是耶穌，就跑遍那整個地區，聽到他在哪裏，就把有病的人用褥子抬到哪裏。耶穌所到的地方，或村中、或城裏、或鄉間，他們都把病人放在街市上，求耶穌讓他們摸一摸他的衣裳繸子，摸着的人就都好了。

所以，你們要彼此認罪，互相代求，使你們得醫治。義人祈禱所發的力量是大有功效的。

又有人由同一位聖靈領受信心；還有人由同一位聖靈領受醫病的恩賜；

有一天，耶穌教導人，有法利賽人和律法教師在旁邊坐着；他們是從加利利各鄉村、猶太和耶路撒冷來的。主的能力與耶穌同在，使他能治好病人。

他的名聲傳遍了敘利亞。那裏的人把一切病人，就是有各樣疾病和疼痛的、被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的，都帶了來，耶穌就治好了他們。

有人帶着一個癱子來見耶穌，是由四個人抬來的；因為人多，無法抬到耶穌跟前，就把他所在那房子的屋頂拆了，既拆通了，就把癱子連所躺臥的褥子都縋下去。

眾人知道了，就跟着他去；耶穌接待他們，對他們講論上帝國的事，治好那些需要醫治的人。

有一大羣人到他那裏，帶着瘸子、盲人、肢殘的、聾啞的，和好些別的病人，都放在他腳前，他就治好了他們。於是眾人都驚訝，因為看見聾啞的說話，肢殘的痊癒，瘸子行走，盲人看見，他們就歸榮耀給以色列的上帝。

傍晚的時候，有人帶着許多被鬼附的來到耶穌跟前，他只用一句話就把邪靈都趕出去，並且治好了一切有病的人。

我實實在在地告訴你們，我所做的工作，信我的人也要做，並且要做得比這些更大，因為我到父那裏去。

伸出你的手來，讓醫治、神蹟、奇事藉着你聖僕耶穌的名行出來。」
