他們一從船上出來，眾人便認得是耶穌，就跑遍那全地區，將有病的人放在鋪蓋上隨帶着，聽見他在甚麼地方就到甚麼地方去。凡耶穌所進的村莊、或城市、或鄉下，他們都把患病的人放在市場上，求耶穌容他們摸他，雖即只摸得着他的衣裳繸子；凡摸着他的人、都得了救治。

所以你們要彼此認罪，互相代禱，使你們得醫治，義人竭力的祈求是大有功效的。

另有別人本着這同一的靈稟受深信之心；另有人本着這獨一的靈稟受行醫的恩賜；

這些日子有一天、耶穌正教訓人；有法利賽人和教法師也在座。人從加利利各村莊、和猶太跟耶路撒冷來；主的能力與耶穌同在，使他能行醫。

他的名聲傳出去，到了全敍利亞；人把一切有病的、給各種疾病疼痛困迫的、被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的、都帶了來；耶穌都治好了他們。

有人來了，帶着一個癱子要見耶穌，是給四個人抬着的。因為有羣眾、不能帶到他面前，就在耶穌所在的地方拆了房頂；既挖通了，便把癱子所躺臥的鋪蓋縋下去。

但羣眾知道了，就跟着他。耶穌歡迎他們，對他們講論上帝的國，醫治那些需要治療的人。

有一大羣人上他跟前來，帶着瘸子、殘廢的、瞎子、啞巴、和許多別的病人，都丟在他腳旁；他治好了他們；以致那羣人看見了啞巴能說話，殘廢的康健，瘸子能走路，瞎子能看見，都希奇，將榮耀歸與以色列的上帝。

到了傍晚，有人帶了許多被鬼附的來見耶穌，耶穌只用一句話、就把惡靈趕掉，又治好了一切有病的人。

『我實實在在地告訴你們，信我的、我所作的事、那人也要作；就使比這些更大的、他也要作，因為我往父那裏去；

同時伸出你的手來醫病，使神迹奇事、藉你聖僕耶穌的名、行了出來。』
