各鬻其產、視人所需而供之。

願我眾兄弟。一嘗主之味。其味實無窮。親嘗始知美。敬主邀天休。所需百無缺。

故予勸爾、亟以虛夸之財富、廣結良友、則爾謝世之時、必有迎爾入於永宅者矣。

當罄售所有、博施濟眾、自製不敝之囊、積無盡之藏於天、盜不得而近之、蠹不得而蝕焉。

旋謂諸徒曰：『曩者予遣發爾曹、無囊無袋無履爾曹曾受困窮否耶？』

耶穌曰：『欲為完人、往售所有、施於貧人、積寶於天、再來從我。』

耶穌顧而悅之。又謂之曰：『爾尚缺一端、宜罄售爾之所有、施諸貧人、積寶于天、來從我遊。』

此亦所以為來日自培美基、以把握真生命耳。

自天主聖父視之、純潔無瑕之虔誠、亦曰矜孤恤寡、濟弱扶傾、與夫守身如玉、涅而不緇而已矣。

亦售其田產、而置金於宗徒之足前焉。有名亞拿尼亞者與妻撒非喇亦鬻產以獻；惟兩人相商、私留數金、而以所餘獻宗徒。伯鐸祿曰：『亞拿尼亞爾何沙殫蒙心、私藏所得、以欺聖神乎？

務使外界睹爾品格高尚、行為端正、而無求於人也。
