『且視言者非皆加利利人乎？何能道吾方言？吾輩或來自帕提亞、瑪代、以蘭、或向居美索不達米亞、猶太、加帕多蒙、本都、亞細亞、弗呂家、旁非利、埃及、以及毗連古利奈之呂彼亞；或自羅馬來此遊歷；或為猶太人、或為歸化者；尚有革哩底阿拉伯諸方人士；而各聞以其鄉音、稱道天主宏猷！』莫不驚訝自失而相語曰：『果何由而致此乎？』

無何、旁立者更進謂伯鐸祿曰：『爾確為彼黨、聽爾之方音、已可知之矣。』

而伯鐸祿則立於門外；於是與總司祭相識之某徒出語司閽婦、引伯鐸祿入。司閽婦乃問伯鐸祿曰：『汝亦斯人之徒歟？』對曰：『非也！』

耶穌被執、曳至大司祭該法署中、經生耆老群集於斯。伯鐸祿遙尾其後、既至大司祭院中、乃與隸役共坐、以觀事之究竟。

行經加利利河濱、見兄弟二人、一為西門即伯鐸祿、一為其弟安德烈、正投網海中；漁夫也。耶穌謂之曰：『從予、將使爾為生靈漁夫。』二人立棄其網而從之。復前行、又見兄弟二人、即慈伯德子雅各伯暨弟若望、與父慈伯德修網舟中；召之、亦即捨網謝父而從。

既出、方及門、又一使女見之、語於眾曰：『此乃納匝勒人耶穌之同夥也。』

耶穌見聖母及愛徒並立、乃謂聖母曰：『夫人、此爾子也！』

惟彼眾庶、昧於律法、其亦可詛也已！』

耶穌遣發伯鐸祿若望曰：『往備免難羔、俾吾儕共食。』

同來執耶穌者、有司祭諸長殿庶司及長老。耶穌謂之曰：『爾等竟手刃持挺而出、一若捕盜耶？予日在殿中與爾眾俱、而爾未曾執予、惟今乃爾曹之時、黑闇乘權矣。』眾執耶穌解送總司祭署、伯鐸祿遙尾其後。

一婢見其面火坐、注視之曰：『此人從耶穌。』伯鐸祿不承曰：『女子、吾不識彼人。』無何、又一人見之曰：『汝亦彼黨。』伯鐸祿曰：『君誤矣！吾非彼黨。』閱一時許、更有人堅言曰：『此人確為彼黨、亦加利利人也。』伯鐸祿曰：『吾實不知君之所云。』言未已而雞鳴矣。
