耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命，若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裡。

因為除了那已經奠定的根基——耶穌基督以外，沒有人能另立根基。

信子的人有永生；不信子的人得不到永生，上帝的烈怒常在他身上。」

這見證就是：上帝已經把永恆的生命賜給我們，這生命在祂兒子裡面。人有上帝的兒子，就有這生命；沒有上帝的兒子，就沒有這生命。

上帝只有一位，在上帝和人類之間只有一位中保，就是降世為人的基督耶穌。祂捨命作全人類的贖價，這在所定的時候已顯明出來。

祂命令我們向世人傳道，見證祂就是上帝指派來審判活人和死人的那位。所有先知也都為祂做見證說，『誰信祂，誰的罪就能藉著祂的名得到赦免。』」

人們要奉祂的名傳揚悔改、赦罪的福音，從耶路撒冷一直傳遍萬國。

她將生一個兒子，你要給祂取名叫耶穌，因為祂要把自己的子民從罪惡中救出來。」

耶穌又對他們說：「你們要到世界各地去，向全人類傳揚福音。相信並接受洗禮的人必定得救，不肯相信的人必被定罪。

名字沒有記在生命冊上的都要被扔進火湖裡。

後來我又看見一大群人，多得不可勝數。他們來自各國家、各部落、各民族、各語言族群，身穿白袍，手拿棕樹枝，站在寶座和羔羊面前，大聲呼喊說：「救恩來自我們坐在寶座上的上帝，也來自羔羊！」

我們若忽略了這麼大的救恩，怎能逃避懲罰呢？這救恩首先由主親口宣講出來，後來由聽見的人向我們證實了。

你們必須謹慎，切勿拒絕對你們說話的上帝。因為以色列人違背了在地上警戒他們的人，尚且逃脫不了懲罰，何況我們違背從天上警戒我們的上帝呢？

我要使你的名世代受尊崇，萬民必永遠稱謝你。

只是你們必須恆心持守所信的道，根基穩固，堅定不移，不要失去你們聽到福音後所得到的盼望。這福音傳給了天下萬民。我保羅也作了這福音的使者。

誰給過我什麼，要我償還？天下萬物都是我的。

水勢越來越大，把天下各處的高山都淹沒了。

當時耶路撒冷住著從各國回來的虔誠的猶太人。
