“ And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

“同胞们，现在我知道，你们所做的是出于愚昧无知，就像你们的首领那样。

弟兄們，我曉得你們做這事是出於不知，你們的官長也是如此。

『如今弟兄們，我知道你們是由於無知而作的，也像你們的議員一樣。

「同胞們，現在我知道，你們所做的是出於愚昧無知，就像你們的首領那樣。

兄弟乎！吾知爾之所為、誠出無知、有司亦然、

“ Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.

“ My fellow Israelites, I know you didn’t realize what you were doing. Neither did your leaders.

“ Friends, I realize that what you and your leaders did to Jesus was done in ignorance.

“ And now, brothers and sisters, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.

“ And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers also did.

“ Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

And now, brethren, I know that in ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

“ And now, brothers, I know that you did it in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.

And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did[ it], as[ did] also your rulers.

And now, brothers, I know you acted in ignorance, as your rulers did too.

“ Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

For those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers, because they did not recognize him nor understand the utterances of the prophets, which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning him.

And Jesus said,“ Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.

though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief,

And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.

None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell.

Abimelech said,“ I do not know who has done this thing; you did not tell me, and I have not heard of it until today.”

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Behold, because of me my master has no concern about anything in the house, and he has put everything that he has in my charge.

then if it was done unintentionally without the knowledge of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one bull from the herd for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the rule, and one male goat for a sin offering.And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven, because it was a mistake, and they have brought their offering, a food offering to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord for their mistake.And all the congregation of the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, because the whole population was involved in the mistake.“ If one person sins unintentionally, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.And the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who makes a mistake, when he sins unintentionally, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the people of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them.But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.Because he has despised the word of the Lord and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.”

And here he is, speaking openly, and they say nothing to him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Christ?But we know where this man comes from, and when the Christ appears, no one will know where he comes from.”

When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron and said to him,“ Up, make us gods who shall go before us. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”

saying to Aaron,‘ Make for us gods who will go before us. As for this Moses who led us out from the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’

“ I myself was convinced that I ought to do many things in opposing the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

Joseph said to them,“ What deed is this that you have done? Do you not know that a man like me can indeed practice divination?”

God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel?

They replied,“ Are you from Galilee too? Search and see that no prophet arises from Galilee.”

But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.

Come now, curse this people for me, since they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them from the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”
