那亵渎你们所敬奉的美好之名的，难道不是他们吗？

“你们自己要当心。他们将要把你们送交议会；你们会在会堂里受鞭打。为我的缘故，你们将站在总督和君王面前，好对他们做见证。

扫罗仍然向主的门徒们口吐凶杀威吓的话。他来到大祭司面前，

可是他醒悟过来的时候，就说：‘我父亲那么多的雇工都食物充足，我却要在这里饿死吗？

在日光之下发生的一切事中，有一种祸患，就是每个人都有一样的命运；并且世人的心充满了恶事；他们一生心里狂妄，之后就归到死人那里。

当他们抗拒、说亵渎话的时候，保罗就抖着衣服对他们说：“你们的血，归在你们自己的头上；我是清白的。从今以后，我要到外邦人那里去。”

保罗这样申辩的时候，菲斯特斯大声说：“保罗，你疯了！你学问太大，使你癫狂了。”保罗说：“菲斯特斯大人，我没有疯。我说的都是真实、合理的话。

不过在所有这些事以前，他们将对你们下手，逼迫你们，把你们送交会堂，送进监狱；为我名的缘故，你们将被带到君王和总督面前。

任何拒绝摩西律法的人，凭两个或三个见证人的见证，就得不到怜悯而死，何况一个人践踏了神的儿子，把那使自己成圣的立约之血看做是俗物，又侮辱了恩典的圣灵，你们想想，这个人难道不该受更厉害的惩罚吗？
