难道不是他们亵渎那召你们的尊名吗？（或译：“难道不是他们毁谤你们蒙召的美名吗？”）

但你们要小心！因为人要把你们交给公议会，你们要在会堂里被鞭打，又要为我的缘故站在总督和君王面前，向他们作见证。

扫罗仍向主的门徒发恐吓凶杀的话。他到大祭司那里，

他们却大怒，彼此商议怎样对付耶稣。

他醒悟过来，说：‘我父亲有那么多雇工，又有丰富的食物，我却要在这里饿死吗？

他曾经因着自己的过犯受了责备：不能说话的驴，竟用人的声音说出话来，制止了这先知的狂妄。

在日光之下所发生的一切事，有一件令人遗憾的，就是众人的命运都是一样的，并且世人的心充满邪恶，一生心怀狂妄，后来都归到死人那里去。

但是他们抗拒、亵渎，保罗就抖着衣服，对他们说：“你们的罪你们自己承担，这与我无关。从今以后，我要到外族人那里去了。”

保罗申诉到这里，非斯都大声说：“保罗！你疯了；你的学问太大，使你疯了！”保罗说：“非斯都大人，我没有疯，我说的都是真实的话，清醒的话。

但在这一切以先，人必为我的名，下手拘捕、迫害你们，把你们交给会堂，下在监里，甚至押到君王和总督面前，

如果有人干犯了摩西的律法，凭着两三个证人，他尚且得不到怜悯而死；何况是践踏神的儿子，把那使他成圣的立约的血当作俗物，又侮辱施恩的圣灵的人，你们想想，他不是应该受更严厉的刑罚吗？
