亚基帕又对非斯都说：“这人若没有上告于凯撒，就可以释放了。”

无奈犹太人不服，我不得已，只好上告于凯撒，并非有什么事要控告我本国的百姓。

但我查明他没有犯什么该死的罪，并且他自己上告于皇帝，所以我定意把他解去。

大卫心里说：“必有一日我死在扫罗手里，不如逃奔非利士地去。扫罗见我不在以色列的境内，就必绝望，不再寻索我；这样我可以脱离他的手。”

“我若夺取田地，这地向我喊冤，犁沟一同哭泣；我若吃地的出产不给价值，或叫原主丧命；愿这地长蒺藜代替麦子，长恶草代替大麦。”约伯的话说完了。

但保罗求我留下他，要听皇上审断，我就吩咐把他留下，等我解他到凯撒那里去。”

保罗说：“我站在凯撒的堂前，这就是我应当受审的地方。我向犹太人并没有行过什么不义的事，这也是你明明知道的。

“大能者神耶和华！大能者神耶和华！他是知道的！以色列人也必知道！我们若有悖逆的意思，或是干犯耶和华（愿你今日不保佑我们），

耶和华我的神啊，我若行了这事，若有罪孽在我手里，我若以恶报那与我交好的人（连那无故与我为敌的，我也救了他），就任凭仇敌追赶我，直到追上，将我的性命踏在地下，使我的荣耀归于灰尘。细拉

我若在城门口见有帮助我的，举手攻击孤儿；

刚用皮条捆上，保罗对旁边站着的百夫长说：“人是罗马人，又没有定罪，你们就鞭打他，有这个例吗？”

保罗刚要开口，迦流就对犹太人说：“你们这些犹太人！如果是为冤枉或奸恶的事，我理当耐性听你们。

保罗却说：“我们是罗马人，并没有定罪，他们就在众人面前打了我们，又把我们下在监里，现在要私下撵我们出去吗？这是不行的。叫他们自己来领我们出去吧！”

这犹太人杀了主耶稣和先知，又把我们赶出去。他们不得神的喜悦，且与众人为敌，
