为了弄清楚他们控告他的缘由，我押他到犹太人的公会受审，

保罗说：“不论话多话少，我求上帝不仅使你，也使今天在座的各位都能像我一样，只是不要像我这样带着锁链。”

他们把祂绑起来，押送到总督彼拉多那里。

他到了我们这里，拿保罗的腰带绑住自己的手脚，说：“圣灵说，‘耶路撒冷的犹太人也要这样捆绑这腰带的主人，把他交给外族人。’”

请你们和公会出面通知千夫长，请他把保罗押到你们这里来，就说要进一步审讯他。我们准备在他到达之前杀掉他！”

大祭司和众长老都可以为我作证。我还拿着他们写给大马士革的犹太人的信去拘捕那里的信徒，押回耶路撒冷受刑。
