有主之天神謂斐理伯曰：『起而南、循耶路撒冷赴迦薩荒僻之路以行。』斐理伯遵行；有埃提阿伯人為女王干大基總司庫、權宦也、方自耶路撒冷禮拜返、輿中觀先知意灑雅書。聖神謂裴理伯曰：『爾當憑車步趨。』斐理伯遂趨而就之、聞其誦先知意灑雅書、乃問之曰：『爾所誦者、果明其意乎？』而宦者對曰：『無人啟迪、亦焉能明。』乃邀斐理伯登輿、並乘、其所誦之經云：彼如羊被牽、就死無一聲。又如羔緘口、默對剪毛人。卑微蒙冤屈、公義何由伸。生命絕於地、身世復誰論。宦者問斐理伯曰：『先知斯言何指、其身乎？抑他人乎？』斐理伯乃啟口、即以此經發端、為傳耶穌福音、遵路而行、至有水處、宦者曰：『是地有泉、何妨受洗、』斐理伯曰：『爾如篤信之則可。』對曰：『我信耶穌基督為天主聖子。』命停輿、偕入水、斐理伯為施洗；方自水升、主神忽攝斐理伯以去、宦者不復見之；欣然就道。其時人見斐理伯於亞鎮都、遍歷城邑、傳揚福音、以迄凱塞里。

既入羅馬城、巴總將眾囚交付御營統領；惟准葆樂得與守卒一人自覓居處。

葆樂既見異象、乃知天主命吾儕傳福音於馬其頓、吾儕遂急圖一往。

吾儕遵葆樂之意、先行登舟、駛至亞朔、以迎候之；彼則步行。

除酵日後、吾儕自斐力比起椗、五日至特羅亞、與彼等相會、勾留七日。

禮日出城、赴河濱、以知是處有祈禱所也、至則諸婦會集、乃坐而為之講道；

眾議既定、命吾儕乘舟赴義大利乃將葆樂及其他囚犯交付御營巴總儒流。

凱塞里有高乃流者、義大利營之巴總也。

千總遂召巴總二人至、曰：『速備步兵二百、騎兵七十、槍兵二百、今夜亥刻往凱塞里；

兄弟洞悉其謀、乃攜掃羅至凱塞里、而送之笪爾西。

三月後、吾儕登亞力山大舟前進。是舟以土溫弟兄為記、乃於彼島渡冬者。

經凱塞里、轉陸、赴耶路撒冷、訪謁教會同人；抵安提阿、

嗣復往祈禱所、有婢迎至、巫鬼憑之以行卜、為其主人獲利不貲；
