士兵们抬着保罗来到军营门口，保罗问千夫长：“我可以和你讲几句话吗？”千夫长说：“你也懂希腊话吗？

千夫长下令把保罗押回营房，预备鞭打拷问他，要查出众人向他咆哮的缘由。

保罗的外甥听到这一阴谋，就去军营通知保罗。

第二天，千夫长想知道保罗被犹太人指控的真相，就为保罗松了绑，并招聚了祭司长和全公会的人，然后将保罗带来，让他站在众人面前。

第二天，由骑兵继续护送，其余军兵返回军营。

只是关于这个人，我没有确切的事由可以奏明皇帝。所以，我把他带到各位面前，特别是亚基帕王面前，以便在审讯之后，我可以有所陈奏。
