Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

“ For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.“ For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

Since we have heard that some persons have gone out from us and troubled you with words, unsettling your minds, although we gave them no instructions,

that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.

May his name endure forever, his fame continue as long as the sun! May people be blessed in him, all nations call him blessed!Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen!

It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’”

As it is written,“ Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name.”And again it is said,“ Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.”And again,“ Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples extol him.”And again Isaiah says,“ The root of Jesse will come, even he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope.”May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,“ Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;

And they glorified God because of me.
