以此而事基督者、為天主所悅、為世人所善、

其所預定者、亦召之、所召者、亦稱之為義、所稱義者、亦榮之、○

今時亦然、猶有遺留之人、乃由恩寵蒙選者、若由恩則非由功、否則恩不復為恩、若由功則非由恩、否則功不復為功、是則何也、以色列人所求者未得、惟蒙選者得之、其餘則剛愎其心矣、

耶穌益長、智慧益增、天主與人益悅之、

彼眾無以罰之、懼民故也、因眾見其所行之異跡、歸榮天主、乃復恐喝而釋之、

惟無計可施、因民皆傾聽之也、

使徒以能力證主耶穌復活、皆獲大寵、
