这样，众教会在信仰上得到坚固，人数天天都在增加。

因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，以及远方的人，就是所有被主——我们的上帝呼召的人。”

因为十字架之道在将要灭亡的人看来是愚昧的，但对我们这些得救的人来说却是上帝的大能，

其他人不敢接近他们，不过百姓都很敬重他们。信主的人数不断增加，男女都有。

结果，那天约有三千人相信了他传的道，接受了洗礼。

巴拿巴是个被圣灵充满、信心坚定的好人。那时信主的人大大增加。

外族人听后，非常欢喜，颂赞主的道。凡被选定得永生的人都信了主。

但我们的救主上帝向人彰显了祂的恩慈和仁爱，借着重生之洗和圣灵的更新拯救了我们，这并非因为我们有义行，而是因为祂的怜悯。

以这样的态度事奉基督的人才会得到上帝的喜悦和大家的称赞。

祂所预定的人，祂也呼召他们；祂所呼召的人，祂也称他们为义人；祂称为义人的，祂也使他们得荣耀。

关于以色列人，以赛亚先知曾疾呼：“以色列人虽多如海沙，但得救的只是剩余的人，

现在的情况也是一样，上帝按照拣选的恩典留下了少数人。既然说是出于恩典，就不再基于行为，不然恩典就不再是恩典了。这该怎么说呢？以色列人努力追求，却一无所得，只有蒙拣选的人得到了，其他的人都变得顽固不化。

耶稣渐渐长大，智慧与日俱增，越来越受上帝和人们的喜爱。

官长实在不知道如何惩治使徒，只好再三恐吓之后把他们放了，因为百姓都为这个神迹赞美上帝。

只是无从下手，因为百姓都十分喜爱听祂讲道。

使徒充满能力，继续为主耶稣复活的事做见证，上帝也赐下极大的恩典给众人。
