Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,

He said to them,“ Go and eat delicacies and drink sweet drinks and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

if it is exhortation, he must exhort; if it is contributing, he must do so with sincerity; if it is leadership, he must do so with diligence; if it is showing mercy, he must do so with cheerfulness.

and were continually in the temple courts blessing God.

Now when you come together at the same place, you are not really eating the Lord’s Supper.For when it is time to eat, everyone proceeds with his own supper. One is hungry and another becomes drunk.Do you not have houses so that you can eat and drink? Or are you trying to show contempt for the church of God by shaming those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I praise you? I will not praise you for this!

You shall rejoice before him– you, your son, your daughter, your male and female slaves, the Levites in your villages, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows among you– in the place where the LORD chooses to locate his name.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every respect, not only when they are watching– like those who are strictly people- pleasers– but with a sincere heart, fearing the Lord.

Go, eat your food with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, because God has already approved your works.

When he had taken his place at the table with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

“ The eye is the lamp of the body. If then your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I blamed for the food that I give thanks for?So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time for prayer, at three o’clock in the afternoon.

When they heard this, they entered the temple courts at daybreak and began teaching. Now when the high priest and those who were with him arrived, they summoned the Sanhedrin– that is, the whole high council of the Israelites– and sent to the jail to have the apostles brought before them.

But give from your heart to those in need, and then everything will be clean for you.

Both you and your families must feast there before the LORD your God and rejoice in all the output of your labor with which he has blessed you.

You shall rejoice in the presence of the LORD your God, along with your sons, daughters, male and female servants, and the Levites in your villages( since they have no allotment or inheritance with you).

But I am afraid that just as the serpent deceived Eve by his treachery, your minds may be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart as to Christ,
